Didn't book, went on the off chance with my son as we'd been out as it was wednesday afternoon..was pretty empty so we got a table ... great service from Daria, thank you...very nice and helpful..very nice meal, expensive though... can't say the exact price as I threw the receipt away, but was almost £20 for a the chicken and mushroom pasta.. (though my son said was absolutely delicious).£16 for ham and mushroom pizza... almost £8 for one slice of garlic bread, only enough for one person..drinks fairly expensive too...we had soft drinks but I did notice £9 for a glass of wine!...more of a special occasion treat than a pop in for a quick bite ... returned today had a very enjoyable meal... chicken marsala very nice from the specials... rigatoni very tasty.... again served by the helpful Daria... upgraded to a 4 as we've been back 3 times since this post as we do like it and going Wednesday 😆😂... Albeit still expensive!

Came here for lunch today with my 2 sisters and Nan and the baby was very polite towards staff but one of the managers blonde lady with glasses, didn’t help us with a problem with the high chair, didn’t ask us do we have an allergies, nobody came to check on us whilst eating wasn’t asked if we would like cheese, she was to busy on her mobile laughing at the bar. I was very upset with the service. I will be taking this higher as someone who works for the special force services this is not a way I want to spend my day off. I’m very upset with this service.

I took my mum here for her birthday. The service and food were excellent. My mum and I ordered the chilli king prawn spaghetti and my son, the chicken carbanara. The food was delicious 😋 After we let our mains go down, we ordered deserts. Chocolate gelato, whipped cream, and morello cherry's 🍒 and a tiramisu. My mum even got her desert for free as it was her birthday 🎉 Which was a lovely touch. The restaurant is situated next to The Light Cinema, so there is plenty of free parking. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

ABSOLUTELY EFFING SHOCKING sadly can't put 0 stars

Me and my friends wanted to go to what seemed to be the only good restaurant in Wisbech. But all I can say is avoid at all costs! We wanted to book online but it said they dont accept bookings after half 6. But we had a busy day of activities in Wisbech so arrived at 8:45pm 45 mins before closing time. From the moment we walked in there was no atmosphere at all the restaurant looked well maintained clean and appealing but the staff made it simply awkward. We walked in and there was no smiley faces welcoming us. There was a girl behind the bar who looked at her watch and seemed displeased to have business. Eventually someone came over and showed us to a table. From the second we sat down we were bombarded and felt rushed into ordering. Can't fault the timings on food though starters were out within 10 mins and mains straight after. The food was pretty good can't fault it. During our meal 2 people walked into the restaurant and started harassing us. The staff didn't come over at anytime to ask them if they wanted a table and simply let them walk in, roam the restaurant and disturb us while we were eating. One of my friends is big fan of Tomato Ketchup and made the staff member ensure us that ketchup was coming. But a 30 second task of getting ketchup turned into 10 minutes, having to be reminded twice. The staff was no busy at all, they only had one other table but was not attentive at all and didnt have anything else to do than build good rapport with us. They tried to push us into ordering desert but we declined. Once we finished eating they wasted no time at all in whipping up our plates but never came over with the bill. After sitting for about 10 minutes we decided to go up to the bar to pay. When they were ready to take payment they rushed us into it and stuck a card machine in our faces. Food was pretty good but all staff need retraining and put a smile on their faces. If this is how they train their staff I can only believe this is why so many Prezzo...

Went to Wisbech Prezzo at 4pm on a Wednesday en route to an evening live gig. We were hoping for a nice meal to fill us up for the evening ahead.... Not to be, sadly. There was only 1 other table occupied when we arrived, so no atmosphere to speak of. We ordered drinks to start... My friends ordered a standard latte.... 5 minutes later she is presented with an oat milk (not asked for) flat white. When she complained the waiter seemed intent on making the error my friend's fault, not his. The replacement arrived looking more like a latte but still in a standard, small coffee cup, not a glass latte cup. I ordered a sparkling water and was presented with a full sized 750mm bottle rather than an individual serving size. That's a fiver gone! Onto our meal order, I had the special Chicken Marsala and my friend had the crab and lobster ravioli. My chicken breast was overcooked with the crispy covering too crisp to bite through and the chicken itself was stringy and overcooked. I had asked for a small handful of salad on the side of the plate, very specifically stating I didn't want a full side salad, just a small handful if they could do that please but guess what.... I got the full side salad. Dry leaves with a couple of small tomatoes, 2 drops of balsamic vinegar (didn't that go out last century???) and a hefty price tag. The ravioli was noticeably lacking in lobster filling, being heavy on the crab with lots of prawns in the sauce. Presumably because both those are cheaper than lobster. We didn't have time to request replacements due to needing to get on with our trip. Had intended to have a dessert but thought better of it due to the lack of enjoyment of the mains. All in all a very disappointing experience. The waiter was on his own for most of the visit and the place had started to get a little busier by the time we left so it took some time to get the bill. We used to enjoy going to Prezzo hugely but I think this is...

Ignoring the Price, Portion Sizes and Quality of the food which if you've been to this place I'm sure you would be aware aren't great to begin with, They do not take cash which would be fine if it was made clear and obvious on their home page on their website, It might be on their website but it isn't clear and obvious if so, My wife went there with cash and was made to look very silly when she found out it was card only which is pretty embarrassing when your out with friends, Hugely disappointing experience comes to mind, I won't go into to much detail on the food it's self as that depends more on your pallet and I don't feel it's fair to describe the actual taste of the food on our part in any restaurant, The portion sizes are poor but of course that depends on the sort of restaurant it is so once again it's not fair to comment to much on that, Similar with the price of course they are over charging for food and drink in our opinion but I feel as though you pay more for the atmosphere which in our case wasn't good but it could be in yours as it's completely subjective. Our personal experience wasn't great hence our personal rating, I would like to add it feels harsh rating this 1 Star but it is only though our personal tastes and opinions, Please if someone who shares similar tastes to yourself recommends this restaurant please try it at least once, every single restaurant deserves one chance on our occasion it didn't work out but this entire review is just our experience and we simply cannot rate...
