This KFC takes advantage of vulnerable disabled people, a member of my family spent nearly £50 on a KFC and once home several items of chicken were missing, they therefore went back to KFC to ask for the remaining chicken. The manager was very rude to them and refused to give them the missing chicken or partial refund. I was then called to go to KFC by my family member as they were very upset. The manager very was rude and ignored me as he had other things to do, he also told other members of staff to ignore me as I was trying to get his or his managers name and number. This is not a service I would expect from any fast food restaurant. The manager did ask to see the chicken that they gave us and all I could produce was the remains of bones and skin of the chicken, I and did ask if he would like to come to my home to see as it was all in the bin, he said no, so I had another family member bring all the remains to me and I emptied it on the counter so that he could count the bones. And all he said was that you will not be getting anything from me know and I left as I was not getting anything anyway as he had previously stated a several times. Also whilst I was there another customer went in as he also had a short order, but they obliged by giving him the missing chicken. Read moreI had a rather disappointing experience at this branch of KFC. I am not a regular visitor here and so I don't know the various meal names. As such I described to the cashier what I wanted. Unfortunately it appeared that he was a newbie and didn't know any more about things than did. It seems very poor practice to me to have someone as the public face of your company that doesn't know what they are doing. What ever happened to company training? As a result I ended up with far less than I was expecting and less than I think I paid for. What I got was certainly not value for money and I didn't even have any utensil to eat my beans with. As I had ordered takeaway and not thought to double check the staff all this was discovered too late for me to do anything about it. I had attempted to order using the app but it was very user unfriendly and wouldn't even show the child's meal that I wanted. Even getting my app scanned instore was something of a palaver as again staff seemed very unsure about it as they didn't seem to have any training in it. Other customers were also being disappointed because their preferred payment methods were not accepted and menu items were not available as they wanted them. It seems that customers must bend to the ways of KFC rather than the other way round as things should be. Stopped today. Monday 25th August. I've uploaded the order receipt and am still parked on the opposite side of the road at the retail park. Unfortunately a member of staff did not read the order properly and gave us 2 x 2 piece chicken meals. We had ordered a 3 piece and a 2 piece meal.
My wife picked the order up and had a conversation with one of KFC colleagues about her perfume.
It was only when we drove off and parked over the other part of the industrial estate and opened the meal and found out the order was wrong and we had been charged for 3 piece meal but not provided it. It is awkward crossing the road and didn't want the meals to get cold so couldn't be bothered to go back. I hope that KFC will honour the mistake and make good on the next visit. I have uploaded the receipt and will bring in the paper copy on our return.
Other than that KFC was good as described above. Please pay more attention to customer orders.
