Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Folkestone and Hythe District

Visited coffee shop on 11th of April with friends around 2.30pm. Experienced very rude attitude from the stuff what basically changed our mood on this sunny day. Ordered drinks and shop assistant did put all four drinks on plate and did spill two of them and just asked us to collect. After my question is it normal to give spilled plate with dirty cups to the customer and got answer that yes this is normal. I suggest her to change the job if she is not happy working there what she answered she is happy to be face of Costa. Ok, I controlled my anger and just went with coffee to the table and after moment just come back to the till to ask some tissues to clean spill but guess what they was so upset with my remark as they completely ignored me and only after other costumer been asking to get attention to my request she with some anger passed me tissues. As I was with other people I decided to not escalate this and we did finish coffee but thanks to the stuff, no more Folkestone's Costa be my choice...

Went here today to do some work while my car was getting its MOT. Managed to find a table with a power socket and connected my Laptop to the free wifi. A member of staff helped me connect to the wifi as it would not connect straight away. Coffee is your standard Costa coffee and the croissant was nice to. While I was there a member of the Costa staff asked some teenagers to move on as they were just sitting there and not ordering anything. I thought that she dealt with the situation very well and professionally. It turns out that some of these kids have been there before and stolen stuff and where rude. Kudos to the staff for dealing with the situation professionally. If I need to work in town again I will probably go to...

I went in this coffee shop last Wednesday for drinks including a bottle of water. The glass given to me was filthy. I asked for it to be changed and was told’ it’s the dishwasher’ The replacement glass was also dirty but not as bad as the first one. I drank from the bottle rather than the dirty glass I suggest if your dishwasher is not cleaning your crockery as it should, rather than give your customers dirty glasses and cups to drink from you should maybe get your hands in the sink and wash them properly or give your customers takeaway cups . It’s not the first Costa coffee love been given a filthy glass to drink from and been told it’s the fault of the dishwasher Maybe a bit of training on hygiene...
