Django's Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Folkestone and Hythe District

Django's Cafe Bar is located in a quiet area of Folkestone close to the seafront, I visited Django's Cafe Bar early one morning prior to a meeting in the area, just after they had opened. I ordered a cappuccino, which was rich and creamy, with a perfect foam, and I left the cafe feeling refreshed and ready to start my day.

In addition to coffee, the cafe/bistro also serves a variety of other drinks, including tea, hot chocolate, and smoothies. They also have a selection of pastries, cakes, as well as other breakfast/brunch/lunch style dishes on the menu, so will have to give this a try next time I'm in the area.

The cafe has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place to meet friends or catch up with work. The cafe also has a small outdoor seating area.

Overall, Django's is a nice place to grab a coffee or a bite to eat, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed...

Django's. Hmm, what can I say? Lots actually! Way way beyond expectations. Not the first time a group of us have dined there- and not the first time each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Obviously, yesterday was a special occasion, being Mother's Day. Booking the table was easy, the staff very good and efficient, and the menu broad.

Don't expect some 'Flash Harry' sort of place, the focus is on the food, and the customer, and focus they do. It is a small-ish place, though there is a downstairs area, and the kitchen is small - or appears to be - and we were absolutely amazed with the very high quality being delivered, considering what must be cramped conditions. How they do it is beyond us. Bearing all this in mind, there were no ridiculous waiting times, no "sorry this is off or that is off" and very reasonable prices. Would I recommend? Of course, without any...

The food was okay but vegetarian options could do with improvement, it didn't taste of much and 'whipped cheese' turned out to be runny yogurt without any seasoning.. Probably a good place for meat eaters though by the sounds of it. I really don't like putting bad reviews for staff but one staff member was quite rude and unhygienic handling the food by picking it up and sticking her finger/fingernail into the food to inspect it without gloves when asked if it was possible to cook it a little longer. I've never seen waiting staff see that as an invitation to stick their finger right into a very runny egg and then re-serve the same egg 5 seconds of microwave later, quite funny to watch this unfold though 😂 We gave up and fed the egg to the local wildlife who were less fussy🕊️ The rest of the staff were all really nice and...
