Food was extortionate for one. Secondly my wife’s burger was missing and left to one side when the bags were packed, which we only noticed when we arrived back to our caravan site.

When we called to the take out to ask if it had been forgotten we were told right away, ‘yes’, but when asked if it could be dropped to us as it was your error……we were met by a straight ‘no’.

So I had to wake up my boy, who had just fallen to sleep in my car on the way back, to drive back to the take out to collect the burger.

When I explained and was obviously quiet bermuzed by the situation the lady behind the counter offered me ‘a drink or two’ for my inconvenience.

So the food was wrong, we paid in cash so they can avoid paying tax (which is a taxman’s dream), then I had to drive to the take out to collect my food…….. What a joke! When I aired my frustration it was as if nobody had a tongue in the mouth to answer.

I’ll be making sure everyone I know in and around the area will be recommended to avoid this farce...

Visiting from London for the week, reluctantly came here as I don't generally love chippys but we were starving. I have to say this was the best food from a chippy I have EVER had. Absolutely delicious! The food was not greasy at all, perfect, crispy, fresh chips a million miles away from my local chip shops where the paper is always soaked with oil, everything else we ordered was absolutely lovely too, cooked to perfection. I went here yesterday evening I ask the man behind the counter for COD AND CHIPS TWICE PLEASE then I noticed it was cash only, I said to him I will have go and get more cash as I only have £15 he said that's right £ 15 was enough I was surprised and said OK it wasn't until I got home to find 2 large positions of chips ( didn't ask for large) and one bit of small fish ( even the woman gave me a pound back because the fish was small) the end to this story is he made up he's mind what I was going to...
