Greggs — Restaurant in Folkestone and Hythe District

I was over the moon when a Greggs opened in Cheriton and the food is great... once I've taken it home and cooked it myself.

I'm very disappointed as it is quite rare I go in there and the food is hot/ properly cooked.

The selection on the hot counter is often incredibly lackluster, It doesn't seem to matter what time I go in there is often barely anything on the racks and anything that is there is cold.

I quite often have to ask them if they are doing any more Pizza slices, which is usually met with a sigh and being told to wait 7 minutes while they go and put 2 in for me.

I could understand this if it was 1745 and they were closing up shop, but I once went in there at 1400 and they had basically nothing. Also that in mind I went in there at 1730 to see if anything was there, they had basically closed a full 30 minutes early and only served me...

Ordered a vegan sausage roll and a bacon roll. The latter was good, but the vegan sausage roll was unacceptable. Looked like it needed 10 more minutes in the oven. Top quality food at a good price (Southern Fried Chicken Baguette + Steak Bake). The baguettue was delicious and piping hot, the steak bake is packed full of flavour and quality meat.
