I'm really sorry as I hate to leave a bad review, however, I have to be honest. This was our 1st time trying Nepalese food from this restaurant. At the point of ordering, we were told it would be 25-30 minutes. I thought this was a bit ambitious, and fair enough, it was more towards an hour, but appreciated them delivering the food. The food was well packaged and nice and hot. We enjoyed the breads, samosa, onion bhaji and the rice, but the chicken dishes (curry and tandoori) were incredibly salty, and just didn't taste like chicken - more like gammon. Very odd, like the meat is preserved in saline and not cooked out? I ordered the thali set. This was very disappointing and incomplete. So my family returned after about 6 months and still great.
I probably should be clear; it's a licenced cafe not a fancy restaurant.. went there for lunch on a Saturday and it had the football on TV in the background.. reminds me of Portuguese social clubs..
