Been in here a couple of times now. Really great selection of beers and always a good service behind the bar.

Sorry, brought down to three stars because of 1) lack of general cleanliness - tables really needed a good wipe down between customers as they were sticky 2) toilet facilities - a large toilet (also used for disabled access) no handwash/soap and everything needed a really good clean 3) some of the chairs have seen better days - giving way on the underneath and uncomfortable to sit on

I appreciate there is a high turnover of customers and the toilets are probably used by non-customers too but keeping on top of these things would really make such a huge difference, as it was on our last visit we only stayed for one drink because of...

We dropped in while on our first visit to Folkestone and was pleasantly surprised. We're from the Midlands and we have many micro pubs and ale houses serving our own excellent British beers. So, it's not often we get a chance to drink Belgian beer from draught so we took the opportunity to have a couple. The young lady that served us was very friendly and during a quiet moment came to talk to us. We then popped over to the off licence owned by the same company for some more international beers. Hope we get the...

I disagree with quite a few of the 4*+ review scores. This place has potential but the big problem is that they don't sell their beer fast enough for the selection they carry. This is why on the numerous occasions I have been in for a pint I never stay because the pints are always just going over their best. This is a shame as the atmosphere is quite convivial and the bar is in a good location. Be good to see them concentrate on quality over quantity. There are better pints of beer to be had in other...

Return to Kipps and pleased to say it is still a great place for a good beer with good company. Fantastic range of "craft" and imported beer ( Bruge Zot on draft) and ciders too at great prices. Honest menu serving good food which compliment the beers. We visited again in JAN 23 and liked the seasonal addition of port & Stilton/ Fino & Cashews. It's family owned and seems beloved by the owner. I heartily recommend and just love the eclectic vibe.

A fabulous discovery on our trip to Folkestone. Cosy atmosphere, lovely and knowledgeable staff, dog friendly, and ales straight from the cask- as it should be! A must visit if you're looking for a nice place with pub vibes but not rowdy or crowded

Good selection of ales and ciders. Liked the decor and the people when we were there were all chilled and nice (day time). Great feel to the place too and good prices. Worth a visit if you're in the area, and it's just up from a great Arty street.
