Sunshine Grill — Restaurant in Folkestone and Hythe District

Never use this place!!! I ordered 4 pizzas on just eat only to have the delivery guy turn up with only 2, who said he would bring them straight away. 20 minutes later the place calls and says that just eat has made a mistake on how it does it buy one get one free, so he just chooses 2 random pizzas to send out, without even ringing to check if this was the case with the customer. This meant that my children never received their dinner and by the time I could do anything, Ie re order it was nearly half an hour later. There was no apology and the customer service was shocking at the end of the day if so many issues with just eat do not use it...although I use aspendos a lot and never have any issues so believe it is just an excuse. Will never use this place again, I understand mistakes happen but why not call me before choosing which pizzas to send or even to check if this was what we wanted, save your money go elsewhere. No idea on good customer service or delivering the product that is...

I think only the very few times they would have made a mistake that those people have rushed to leave bad reviews because I'm so surprised to read even one bad review. I think they are always extremely busy from what I have heard but I've never had an issue once. The food is always lovely and hot and the delivery drivers are really nice and it is the fastest delivery I've ever known. The shish kebab is really fresh and the price is good considering the minimum delivery is low too. I've worked in many restaurants and even the best places can't do it perfect every time, which is what I'm guessing the few bad reviews are. We have ordered chicken doner kebab on multiple occasions and we love it and keep ordering it every time we visit Folkestone Harbour. The burgers are also good. Caution: When you order for extra large soon after the shop opens you might get a smaller portion stuffed inside kebab as the shop just opened and the kebab takes time to cook.
