Potentially worst service I have ever had at a mcdonalds. I turned up after having ordered on the app, arrived to find out that it was only cars which was my mistake. 2 employees then said if I had paid for it it would be fine and they would bring it to me which I appreciated. I then waited 20 minutes to have some little manager come out and be extremely rude from the get go. Told me I would need to get a refund because it wasn't possible. She told me to go on the app and request a refund. I must state here her tone from the start was appalling, I wouldn't have minded had the employees told me from the start it was not possible and this woman was being extremely rude. I tried explaining that the other employees had said it was fine and she basically told me to go away and get my refund. I then said how do I make a complaint firstly because of how she was speaking to me and secondly because the worker had said it was no problem and left me waiting in the snow for 20 minutes. I want to state that this is not either of the workers fault and it was just their mistake which happens to us all. This is when the manager became extremely aggressive. Began walking towards me pointing in my face and swearing at me. Told me to f* off, used slurs and started making personal comments. Told me it "isn't her f*ing fault I cant read" and all sorts of other vile things. Have reported to both the franchisor, McDonalds itself and considering the police. Absolutely vile behaviour from someone meant to be working in the service industry.

I had no choice but to park at the back of the lot and wait 20 minutes for my order. During that time, it became abundantly clear that your staff had no system in place to properly address customers who had been relegated to the back of the parking area. My partner finally had to go inside to retrieve our food because waiting indefinitely for staff to locate us was not a viable option.
Hereâs the crux of the issue: these parking bays are meant for paying, on-site customers, not for the convenience of Uber Eats and Just Eat drivers. A basic order of three popular meals and we were left waiting in a bay for 25 minutes for our food while car after car drove through. We watched as a young worker walked around aimlessly with someone's food orders only to walk back into restaurant with the same food she hadn't been able to hand over. We had to walk into restaurant eventually to get our food ourselves without and apology or a thank you - why?, surely that's a basic human skill and a mandatory response from someone working in this job?. I understand any business can have an "off" period but the fact that the food order was incomplete, incorrect and substandard warrants this 1 star review.
