The interior is nicely designed and decorated to create lots of different small spaces for a warm and cosy dining experience. During the summer there's plenty of outside space to enjoy the sunshine. The staff are very friendly and make sure you have everything you need and are happy with the food. The food is delicious! Always well cooked and nicely presented. During the day there's plenty of parking for free on site.

Just moved to the area and already love this place. Food is amazing service is excellent. Kids love it as an afyer school treat tea. Lots of selection and big outdoor area for seating. Kudos to the staff who refunded my daughters price of meal back that she didn't like. We didn't ask for a refund she politely did it out of generosity.

A good pub in a good spot. Much larger inside than it looks with a large beer garden. Had a lot of staff on for the sunny bank holiday, it was full inside and out but not crowded, definitely a place to try with the usual pub menu if you're hungry.

Firstly this account was made while I was a child not a troll account putting a bad name on anywhere,

A couple of weeks ago my partners dad passed away and me my partner, family went for a few drinks on a Sunday and found the service really good and had a lovely feel about the place while mark(manager) was there, so we decided we would have the wake for her father here fully confident it would be a great experience and send off for him. Yesterday I popped in while mark was in and he promised staff would help out with the set up for the wake,

Unfortunately today we’ve had a horrible experience, 10 o’clock this morning I popped in to set up for the wake, they didn’t close the area off for us from the public; didn’t help me blow the balloons up although promised, didn’t move any tables or anything at all. Any ways I set it up my self and went to the funeral, once we all arrived at the run head we sat down and had food and after 45 minutes of arriving the female manager came over with no compassion at all telling us needed to take out balloons and everything down and clear up for the public Bering in mind there was 7 other people in the bar, gave my mother in law no respect at all saying she needed her out to clear up laughing on with other staff and not caring at all about her emotion just returning from her husbands funeral, before people even finished eating she sent staff over looking nervous saying do you want food packed away we we need to clear up, 45 minutes after everyone started arriving! She was completely unprofessional with her attitude and had 0 compassion what so ever, we paid to have a service and didn’t receive any of it I have nothing bad to say about mark but the female managers attitude was absolutely disgusting not professional at all and completely disregarded what mark said and stopped her staff helping at all, it has completely ruined the day and had left the family seriously upset. We will not be returning at all while she is in charge and would like to contact mark as soon as possible about the way we have been treated on what’s supposed to be a day of...

Totally let by down by whoever was serving on the bar today! Wake up lad!

We chose to come here because it still showed on Google it still had the children's outdoor play area - it doesn't but decided to stay anyways as the outdoor area was nice and it was a quiet sunny weekday afternoon.

Husband ordered a pint and a half for me however he put through a pint and two half's but told us after we paid - so paid for an extra drink we hadnt ordered.

Then he ordered the children's burger meal and two adult main meals. When he gave us our drinks husband double checked the food order as it seemed cheaper than what we calculated and ensured us everything we ordered was being cooked. Adults food came and we asked for cutlery for our toddler. He came back and asked if we were expecting another burger to which we replied yes, the children's meal but that's what hadn't been put through on the order. So toddler shared with us as we didn't have the time to wait for another meal to be cooked and we were getting annoyed by this point. It was the childrens meal we ordered first! So with that order we got an extra half pint we didn't want and didn't get the children's meal we did want. Fair enough if it was busy but it was dead. Burgers were...

I visited on Sunday 30th June 2021 and couldn't have been happier with the service , we were seated in the teepee which was spacious without being smothering considering how warm it was , the staff were friendly and extremely considerate , drinks were remembered and refreshed quickly and efficiently , I'd especially like to mention steph who was very friendly and cheery and also Emily what an amazing young lady she was remembering our round almost instantly , as I later found out she had never worked a pub before but she showed fabulous recollection skills , those to staff members made our experience there fantastic, our food order was filled relatively quickly considering we had been told a 45 min to 1hr wait on food as the kitchen was really busy I can honestly say it was worth waiting for , all in all the afternoon was great , I had been a bit nervous due to the current climate but it was masks all round , sanitiser everywhere you looked , definately 2 thumbs up from me, it made my first pub visit since pre March 2020 great and will definately be returning , thank you to everyone who's hard work has made the runhead a sage friendly...
