Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Gloucester

I meant to write a review a short while ago, but have been distracted. Visited Costa to meet a friend on a Saturday morning, service from the two female members of staff was very good, both were polite and attentive, food and coffee prompt and hot, no issues here, however. There was a blonde gentleman swanning around, supervisor? Manager? Who took it upon himself to look down his nose and make a dismissive gesture with his face on every single pass of our table, it was not a single instance, but five times. I really did not want to have a confrontation with this individual because I did not wish to upset the company I was with as she was totally unaware of what was happening. Maybe this individual should take more time doing his job rather than being a judgemental bigot. I will not...

A little disappointed with my vist today. There was a massive queue, I waited in line but when I got to the counter the guy serving missed me completely & tried to serve the guy behind me. I did comment that I was waiting longer, the poor guy behind me apologised to me but he only gave his order because the guy serving asked him what he wanted. When I was waiting for my drinks I asked for some extra hot water for my tea because I like weak tea. The girl making the drinks offered me an expresso cup full!!!! I did say to her that if the tea was strong that I would need more. When I sat down with the drinks, I found my cup was filthy, I then had to find someone who could get me a clean cup. Not a good visit today Costa....

I found the service very poor, the gentle man who served me asked me many times my order and then made my order with cows milk when I had specifically asked for soya milk 2 or 3 times. He then had to be told to wash out the equipment which he barely bothered to do. And then the drink was barely how it should have been with the sprinkle topping missing. All of this was done whilst he wore his mask around his chin. I cannot believe how disgusting that is as these times. I felt too awkward to ask for my drink to be made a 3rd time so took my coffe and left. I feel for a drink which is expensive it is crazy to behave...
