Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Gravesham

Has anyone been having issues with Papa John's Pizza (36 Perry Street, Gravesend) service.

I ordered Papa John'a pizza for collection from the Perry Street and was told to collet in 20 - 25 minutes, I got to tgw Perry street store exactly 25mins and was told to wait another 20mins.

I expressed my disappointment and advised they should have informed me how long and not make mw leave what i waa doing to come wait here. I waited and after 20 mins, pizza was still not ready. A lady who odentified as the Manager came and i told her how disappinted i was with the service and she told me i was unnecessarily expressing satisfaction because another fellow who was there waiting too was't complaining.

I wwnt into my car to wait and after exactly an hour i returned into the store to be informed my pozza had been givennto another customer.

My daughter made another order, and was told to wait 30 mins. Aftwr 30 mins she was told someone else picked up the pizza.

After the 2 separate failed orders for collection, I then ordered the pizza only and oaid for it online, after about 50 minutes the tracker says pizza is with you, enjoy... but I hadn't received any pozza, I called up Papa John and was told to call the driver, who I neither know not have his contact.

Called severally and no response, when someone eventually answered the phone I was told the pizza was on the way to me.

Pizza ordered online at 21.16 still not delivered at 22.35hrs.

Has anyone had similar experience because I am making a big complaint to the Papa John's because if they cannot deliver a service, they might as well close. I have had children. It had dinner this late because of this...

Warning! Read the reviews before ordering...i didn't. Having ordered from Papa John's Dartford for years i've never been disappointed, what an opposite experience I've had now. Having moved to the area I've tried Dominos and no issues. I then found out there was a Papa John's.

The delivery was so slow. The app saying it was delivered but, no pizza. After an extortionately long period we called to find out where it was. We were told it will only be another 6 minutes however, pointed out it had been out for delivery for 25 mins and will likely be cold. We were offered to have a fresh order if it was cold and of course it was when it arrived. Being so late we didn't bother as we had no idea when it might turn up.

Now the Pizzas. Checked with a digital thermometer at 23 degrees c. 3 degrees warmer than the kitchen. The wheat free pizza they couldn't even be bothered to cut. Just a Frisbee with pepperoni on it. As a minimum a Pizza should be hot and cut surely.

Then the tata tots. I can't say they were any worse but, they seemed to be shown the oven and thrown in a box. Obviously stone cold because of the agonising wait for them. So I couldn't tell if they were very undercooked or just sweated and went cold.

My advice, the manager needs to go to the Dartford store or to Dominos to understand how to run the franchise. Go to Dominos, Gravesend East if you want your food hot and at a...

If I could rate a 0 I would . Order came 2 hours late, which at 11pm I called saying where is my order and a worker proceeded to scream over the phone and tell me it’s been delivered, then another guy answered n told me it will be with me soon & he’ll give me a call back after calling delivery driver- he didn’t and it came an hour after this. I called in 3 times to speak to a manger following on - no manager in store/ they lied saying I would get a call back everytime and just ended on me. I then went into store where the manager still wasn’t present & spoke to her over the phone where she said ‘ I cant do anything - you accepted the pizza’ well of course I am going to when I’ve waited 2 hours for it. In store we got ignored by 4 members of staff who were on phones / laughing about . And not very fluent English language to understand me. This customer service is outrageous and I’ve never felt so...
