Wicked Wings Ltd — Restaurant in Gravesham

My friend and I ordered boneless wings tonight and we have very differing opinions. He enjoyed the food but felt the cheesy chips were too cheesy (no such thing imo). The chicken was well cooked but the texture of the coating was strange and so oily there was a pool of oil in the bottom of the box. When I ordered I was told the food would cost £27 and confirmed this with the person that took my order. However, when it arrived the delivery driver asked for £28 due to a £1 delivery fee I had it been aware of. I know this is only a small difference but I had made sure I had what I believed was the correct money. When I told the driver this he was quite curt. Luckily I had another pound. Upon opening ing the bag we found that there was a portion of onion rings missing. I called the restaurant and was told that there were no onion rings on my order. I explained that this had to be wrong as the deal I had ordered included three sides (the two portions of cheesy chips and something else). The woman I spoke to was quite helpful and sent out the onion rings separately. Overall, I don't think I will order from there again. My friend disagrees and would like to try something...

Today we ordered delivery and one of the wing flavours had been subbed out due to them running out of the one we had ordered.

We were not asked about this despite our phone number being listed in the order. What is the point of the number if not for these kind of situations?

We ended up with plain wings which are not appetizing at all. I called up to talk about this and was not offered a solution, was just told they were out. When I mentioned that they should have called us there was not much of a response.

They gave us plain wings and a sauce pot to presumably put on it. Why not just call us, tell us it was out and ask what we would like as an alternative? Putting a sauce pot on plain wings is not the same as cooking them in the sauce let alone the fact that this meant there was no garnish.

Extremely disappointed both me and my girlfriend. The one star is directed at the customer service and resolution we did not receive.

For the kind of money that is being charged now especially since the menu change I would expect the service to reflect that however since a few months back now we have had numerous issues...

WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS! Just received an order from Wicked Wings via Uber Eats and was very disappointed. Delivery was nearly an hour late with no update from the restaurant despite requesting so via the app. So I decided to call them instead once it was half an hour late. Called 9 times and no one answered. Then the food decided to turn up (no apology or explanation) but when it did it was a soggy nasty mess. The chips were stale and hard and the chicken tasted and looked awful. The chicken had soggy batter sliding off it, the sauce it was rolled in was nasty too. First time trying this restaurant and I was very disappointed after reading the reviews. I wish my food had looked like other people’s pictures, I actually had to throw it away and order from somewhere else. Definitely never ordering...
