Asian Style — Restaurant in Great Britain

Really enjoyed our takeout meal from Asian Style. I had the Sezchuan squid and egg fried rice, my partner got the Malaysian chicken chow mein and we ordered prawn toast to share.

The Sezchuan squid ideally could have been spicier, but the squid was nicely cooked and delicious. It can be a bit hit and miss with squid as it gets rubbery if cooked poorly, but it was a beautiful texture with lovely big chunks in the sauce. The squid helping was really generous which I was delighted with. As you may have guessed, I really like squid.

My partner enjoyed his chow mein. It was a huge portion and definitely felt like good value for money. The prawn toast was a little overcooked but didn't detract from the meal as a whole.

The food was ready pretty quickly and as we were collecting it from the shop we didn't use their delivery service, so I cannot comment on how good that is. The staff in the shop were...

Can't believe the price of this place! Ordered salt n chilli chicken, gravy sauce n prawn crackers and I was only along the road £11.60 it came to! Total n utter rip off and have tasted better salt n chilli chicken from other places and they've all of a sudden bumped their prices right up this is the dearest in town and nothing spectacular..what's going on? I certainly won't be using this again. Had to ask for a receipt and new menu to match it up. Chinese takeaways are getting far too greedy now no wonder people don't want to spend money they haven't got on them anymore ....

It probably was the worst I have ever tasted for Chinese delivery, no flavour and just thrown into boxes with no care or passion for what they sell.
