Some good, some not so good As bakery chains go, you can't go far without making comparison to Gregg's, and on balance this chain doesn't meet the standard. Good enough to meet your pastry fix if there's nothing else around though. Sausage roll, 6/10, these were OK, but pastry was not as flaky and buttery as it could be. Steak bridie, 5/10, similar story here with the filling having a slightly odd soapy (not literally, but that's the best i can do to describe it) taste that wasn't entirely pleasant. Fudge custard donut, 8/10, the donut, however was actually quite good. Lovely thick layer of fudge and enough cream to balance it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall the service and atmosphere was pretty identical to many other chains, no complaints there really. Staff were nice and friendly.

Really nice cakes and very tidy shop, unfortunately nothing Gluten free on offer.

Sunday 10 July Arrived in car park 15:25 customers were in the shop I got out the car as they were leaving to find the door had been locked time was exactly 15:30 the staff saw me but chose to ignore. As a customer who was prepared to purchase a good deal of items i can only imagine from the staffs behaviour they have no interest in the business. Fortunately did notice a recruitment banner - hopefully any new staff will be more customer focussed and business driven than the ones on today’s shift. There might a reasonable explanation why I was...

The food and drink here is fine. On occasion I would go as far to say very tasty. Not particularly healthy but now and again it competes with other well eatablished bakeries on taste.

Where this bakery lets itself down is in its service. I have found myslef waiting, waiting and waiting on numerous occasions. The staff are friendly and nice but the speed of service is slow. I have experienced noticably slow service at this at this bakery and one in Dunfermline...
