Awful - Mother’s Day ruined! First and last time going. My children booked Sunday lunch for Mother’s Day with my two twin toddler grandsons. When we arrived no staff around to show us to the table, we were lucky that we spotted an empty table with my son’s name on, so we sat down. No one came to our table to inform us how the drinks/service works so we figured out for ourselves. Admittedly my daughter was a few minutes late so when we were first asked to order we wasn’t quite ready. However, it took ages for any staff member to return to take our order. Our orders were taken and we were informed we had to pay upfront (now I understand why) Our starters arrived which was not the best but given price understandable. My son and daughter had the soup which was warm not hot. No bread rolls arrived with the soup and there was no offer of bread rolls. We were advised several times that our dinners were on the way, by this time my grandsons were getting restless and clearly hungry as we had been waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes and they did not have starters. Then the table close to us got served their dinners and we were all aware that they had arrived 30/45 minutes after us, we also noted they were served several baskets of bread rolls with their soup. By this point my grandsons were having meltdowns and my daughter had no choice but to leave with them. We asked for a refund, I had to wait at least 10/15 minutes to be brought the cash we had paid upfront, there was no apology from any of the staff and no understanding why we had to leave and was asking for a refund. We finally got our refund and left…wait it don’t end there! My son was upset that Mother’s Day was applied for me and my daughter he sent Liz a message to her business page, he was not threatening but clearly annoyed. Liz herself replied, she wasn’t great in response saying “sorry you felt that way’ no apology, my son gave his opinion and left it at that. Wait it still don’t end there!! My son then get a message off a private account on fb stating he was Liz’s partner and requesting my sons number ‘to sort things’. My son replied saying he’s made his complaint there is nothing to sort. This person then replied saying he was a ‘builder’ and in fact was not in Swansea and in fact is not part of the business! He then proceeds to suggest he and my son ‘meet up’!! Awful way to deal with a customer complaint! Oh and it has upset us so much none of us have eaten yet and it’s 7pm! Thanks for a memorable Mother’s Day...

On sunday 4 of us turned up at the coopers for a dinner and it was absolutely rammed! However, on arrival we was nicely greeted by bar staff who managed to clear and clean a table for us withing 2 minutes of waiting.

I take my parents out for a dinner regularl, we have been to many places including carvery's and i can assure you that she isn't an easy woman to please and can be a food critic!

We ordered drinks and was soon lining up to get our food. As we sat in anticipation (to hear her verdict) and ate our food she was the first to say how well cooked the meat was, also that the veg and gravy was amazing! (We all was in agreement)

As we ate, we noticed how busy the staff was taking orders for take away meals and even under immmense pressure they worked amazingly well and stayed courteous.

We will definitely be going there again and would highly recommend the coopers for a great meal and atmosphere

Had dinner delivered yesterday 18 th march 2023 , It was hour late being delivered to start with but didn’t mind as it was Mother’s Day so they were most probably really busy. Then after it had been warmed and we sat down to eat I was shocked after reading reviews, it was absolutely tasteless, the beef was like leather, the gravy was so thin it was running off the plate, and as for the vegetables you could have been eating anything everything tasted the same, it was a complete waste of money as most of it I gave to the dog , I wouldn’t ever order...
