Dog House — Restaurant in Great Britain

Went in early afternoon on a Saturday, here giant TV screens showing football were forced to sit near one, after a while we asked if the sound could be turned down, no problem, it was great to talk at a normal level, the Guinness was very nice, the bar filled up with people talking, it felt very cozy friendly, ended up staying longer due to the absence of blaring TV or concert level music. Called in for a pint while visiting Balloch and immediately felt welcome in this vibrant little bar. The beer was excellent and the staff and other customers were all good craic. Entertainment was provided by acoustic guitar and harmonica sessions from a variety of musicians and singers and was enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend this bar. Had a quick drink on Mon 5th Sept with my husband. Lounge was closed but small recently redecorated bar was pleasant. Bar person/locals were friendly and chatty.
