Ordered Via Just eat. Roll with sausage, bacon & egg. For starters the idiot prepping the roll couldn’t even cut it in half properly. The bacon was rock hard, evidently over cooked. This should have been removed from sale and NEVER given to a customer. All of the contents were stone cold. I called the store manager. OMG, where did they get this one from? Absolutely no customer service skills. Explained the issue, not even as much as an apology. When prompted to provide one, the manager said it wasn’t her that prepared the meal. That’s the level of person you are dealing with. I called head office in disgust. They will pass on to the area service manager and provide £12 goodwill gesture. I love a good Greggs and this is one. The staff here are so friendly and cheerful every day, and are always willing to go the extra mile. They always warn you if they think that something hot might have cooled, and they tell you how long is left on the batch in the oven, if you would like to wait to get a hot one. The staff have also been very helpful in putting together large boxes of donuts and pastries for work events. They have added a new range of meal boxes too. Another of a chain of great small bakeries. A good selection of breads and rolls. An even bigger selection of sweet cakes. I visited in a friends car and street parking was not a problem. However there is a high kerb which would defeat my electric hoist and there is a small step up into the shop. My visit with sticks posed little problem.
