Rowans Deli — Restaurant in Scotland

I got a roll & bacon. The bacon was really great quality thick cut bacon and a nice fresh soft roll. I didn't have any sauce so the roll could have done with some butter on it, would be my only criticism. But overall it was really good. I enjoyed it.

They sell a lot of fresh pastries and cakes which are well presented in the counter they all look good quality as well.

It seems a nice wee place to get a bite to eat and I got the impression it was very popular with the locals. The staff are nice and friendly.

I will efinitely will come back when I'm in he area, I would like to try some there other other food. I was a nice wee find...

I had been using rowans for years as my go to place for lunch and its great. Great selection and nice food. My gripe would be the staff, i have had different members of staff make up my basic rolls and get it wrong almost everytime. I have just got back from the shop after having to correct the girl as she was filig my rolls with the wrong contents, and my colleague has just noticed his salad filling is completely missing from his rolls. Maybe it would help if the staff wrote things down and also knew the prices so they are not guessing...

Always good service and the food is lovely. They have a good range from your breakfast rolls, salad rolls, wraps, panini's, toasties, baked potato, chips and sauces, pizza, pies, Bridie's etc pop corn chicken, chilli cheese bites, mozzarella sticks. Cakes, crisps, chocolate and tea, coffee, soft drinks and water. There is something for everyone and prices are good. They have other options but think you get the point, oh 1 of my faves...
