I visited the Straiton retail store on the 2nd October 2024 . The state of the toilet was disgusting. It was very dirty and this was not just through a days use.. The walls, floor all around the toilet bowl pipes, there was not a surface that was clean. I had to take my 2 year old granddaughter in there as we are toilet training and I am visiting a lot of toilets. Very disappointing I did say to the assistant on the way out. Came in with a gentleman I support. He needs to have his cake cut and I understand that they don't have knives to give out. When being in here previously the staff have cut the cake for him. Today it was point blank NO, seemingly the only knives I'm the shop are for cutting meat....how do they make the sandwiches and other items...obviously they have knives for other uses. I was at Straiton to day 24/12/21 and the customer service was great and so helpful, I had just finished my late Christmas shopping because I work for nhs and xmas eve was the only time I had to get all the gifts. after 5 shops, 3 bags (one that ripped) I went in to Gregg's and it was a real relief to have such helpful, polite and friendly service.
