Haroons Takeaway — Restaurant in Great Britain

I recently had food at my brothers a few weeks ago which he purchased from Haroons. The food tasted great, I use to be a regular at Haroons many years ago and then started to use the takeaways on Normanton Road which were closer by walking distance, sadly though the standard of the food in this location has dropped. I actually forgot how good the food was at Haroons, my go to place used to be Delizia, a few weeks ago i had a kebab from Delizia, it was awful, the donor meat was hard and dark brown, tasted like the previous night's meat, after a few bites the whole thing went in bin, I was so upset, I have decided never to return as a paying to Delizia. Since this poor experience, I now go to Haroons and will continue to give them my custom. Haroons is also one of the first few original takeaways in Normanton, still serving the local community. The food is always freshly cooked, the staff are always professional...

Had a lovely time with my brothers at Haroon's this past Friday. The order was taken in a timely manner, and despite the team being busy (with what I assume we're delivery orders) our food came out quickly.

We were eating in and the food was hot, fresh, and tasty. I had the Chinese Chicken curry with fries. My brother's shared a pizza (the desi Tarka pizza). We also had a side of nuggets.

This was my first time visiting to Haroon's Takeaway in a while and I have been visiting on and off for close to 25 years. In my experience on Friday I would say that the standards haven't fallen. I've always enjoyed my meal here.

I would give these guys 10 stars. Not just for the food. These guys that work hear are friendly and polite. Working outside on the roads they always asking if we need drinks. Tonight I've had a donna meat and chips with there own mild chilli. What a sauce absolutely amazing and yes mild. They hit the nail on head with this sauce. The meat cut perfectly and juicy not fatty or greasy very tasty meat. Nicely cooked chips and a fresh cold salad. Great portion. And served with a smile can see why you guys have been open since 1985....
