The Coach — Restaurant in Wales

One of the best real ale / craft beer pubs I have visited. The mural on the wall proudly states "No Strongbow, No Fosters, No Stella, No Problem". This isn't a place to go to if you want to drink bland corporate swill. This place is about beer with taste and flavour. 4 hand pumps for cask conditioned, 2 cask conditioned straight from the barrel and 4 craft kegged beers too.

The pub is super dog friendly and staff and customers made a huge fuss of our 2 terriers.

Will definitely be visiting again and this has now entered my top 5...

What a gem we came across on Easter Sunday 2024. We were exploring South Wales and I wanted to finish the day with a craft beer, so my girlfriend found it "accidentally" just typing "craft beer" in google maps 🫣. Awesome place run by great people and visited by such. There was a live gig of locally based musicians (female vocalist and guitar, who also was singing). Great, authentic pub, with lots of atmosphere, even when quieter. A fantastic range of cask and keg ales, many of which are made on site. Lots of choice for non ale lovers too.
