NEVER EVER HAVE I RECEIVED SUCH AWFUL DISGRACEFUL SERVICE...would give 0 stars if we could!

Couple of weeks ago we ordered something from here and the order was wrong but be didn't bother complaining or mentioning it...Never have I ever felt the need to leave a bad review or complain about anything but by god this one is truly deserved and goes to SPICE OF DOLLAR tonight. 😡🤬

Absolutely shocking service...disgusting way to behave and the Spice of Dollar should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Called at 8.30pm, a young guy took my order and told me it would be 30min delivery time. Never arrived, so eventually after 45mins I called and spoke to same guy to be told it would be 5min. Waited 15min still nothing. We called again spoke to a different guy he said so so sorry it's out of order that you haven't yet received it but assured us it would be with us in the next 10min and would be delivered free of charge. As still nothing arrived after 1hr 30min we phoned and spoke to yet another guy to be told it's a few minutes away and next time you order they would give us a free little something. I said no we wouldn't be paying anything this time just like we agreed with previous colleague. He said yes that's fine will be with you in a few mins that was one and a half hours ago, since then they have taken handset off phone so permanently engaged . So after 3hrs, 50 calls later still no delivery and not even a phone call explaining why. We never complain about anything but this is so extreme we feel I we had no choice but to warn others of the total disregard for their customers (Time...

Food normally okay but last time the naan was really greasy and the biryani was rather tasteless.

Service has been appalling recently. They can't seem to decide if they want you to order online or by phone. You get different answers depending on who you talk too. The time before last I ordered online and my money was taken but on collection I was told there was no record and I was told I'd get the same discount ordering by phone. But last time ordered by phone and no discount was forthcoming. Was told discount only available online. Madras really need to sort this out.

Went to shop and ordered a grill box. They told me it would be about 15 mins as making from scratch. Box came to the counter taped closed. When I got back to my lodge, and opened the box, what a disappointment, lamb tikka was over done, no salad or sauces. Never seen a seekh kabab either. Everything was laid on top of the nan bread.... Everything was dry. Had to make a quick dip to add... I did call the shop, who apologised and offered to send something else down.
