Our first and last visit. We booked a table. We rang up as we were 15 minutes late and were told we hadn’t booked a table anyway but we had confirmation on the phone so when we got there we were shown to a table by a staff member who seemed put out and rude. She showed us to a small round table with low stools that you could barely fit two drinks on, never mind plates etc. how are you supposed to enjoy a meal at a table like that? we declined the offer and went elsewhere. This is not a pub to eat in. It’s rowdy, loud and crowded. It’s more a sports/mans bar. The windows are steamed up. It’s horrible. The car park is a joke turning in on a junction but an absolute joke getting out if you want to turn right as it’s impossible with 2 lanes of queuing traffic at a set of busy traffic lights. We had to turn left, go in completely the wrong direction, go round Tesco island and drive back up the road to head back towards Melbourne?! Won’t be long until Theres an accident there! Why shut off the car park entrance that used to be on station road? You could at least get out there. You could have kept this open and still had enough outdoor seating? Very...

Really disappointed in our first visit to the local pub. We won't be rushing back. There was the landlord and another member of staff on the shop floor, they could've done with another member of staff, as people were waiting over 10 minutes to order a drink. Food was what you'd expect from a pub chain. However there was lots of items which weren't available. We ordered garlic ciabatta, it was just cheese on bread, the child's garlic bread was a toasted burger bun. One of the burgers had items missing but we weren't informed until we questioned it. The children's meal came with an ice cream, they hadn't got the ones we had ordered but again not informed, which caused distress as one child received an ice cream but the...

Awful customer service by the bald suspected landlord. Rude to myself and the gentlemen in front. Firstly by being arsy about reserving tables and then telling myself to “stand there and wait in turn” whilst proceeding to clearly serve what where his friends that arrived to the bar after myself. By the sounds of it im not the first to recoeve poor attitude and will be a real shame when this pub shuts due to his incredibly patronising and obnoxious tone towards customers.
