The Doghouse — Restaurant in Great Britain

It was an all bad experience wouldn’t recommend at all better off going to The Farmers who are much more respectful more variety of drinks and food. Before entering the premises we were spoken rudely by a male member of staff all because we had walked there from our campsite with a beer and a friend finished his beer out the front of the premises instead of entering with it. we then entered and order our drinks where we were spoken to like children by the female member of staff they then kept speaking down to us we then received our dinks and were told to stop being obnoxious we ignored this comment and went and found our seats outside as we had a dog with us we were sat down no more then 30 seconds where we were told we could not be in here with a dog but 30 seconds before they were happy to serve us drinks and take our money we left the premises with our drinks and our dog to drink our drinks out the front as we had only just purchased them to which the same member of staff that was rude to us at first he proceeded to shout at us that they are his glasses and that we were not allowed to have them we didn’t want them we just wanted the drink that was inside. Wow what an amazing place , great atmosphere, great food . The staff are super friendly . A family run business with charm , we felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. We travelled down from london for the week and this is by far my favourite place to eat . The pizzas are cooked to perfection , absolutely delicious, made from scratch .. fresh fresh fresh , best pizza i have had in years. Im here for one more night and im already trying to convince the family to go here again for our last night tomorrow 😆. These guys are living the dream. We’ve been visiting St Merryn every summer for 7 years now and have visited In The Dog House for the first time in its current form this year. The owners and staff are lovely, welcoming people. It’s cosy, friendly and reasonably priced. There’s a great selection of drinks and table service available too. We are excited to return next year to see the developments.
