100% changed my review on this place went in after a long spell away, was invited into company by someone who approached me at the bar and 1 of his m8s made an egotistical comment and when he realised I had a very different opinion he immediately said 'who invited you anyway to which the gent who did so said hes a good guy ,yet the woman with the tattoo told me to go as I was upsetting the company to which even the guy who invited me said hes ok btw ..so I went back in months l8r to be told by that very same bar maid theres something in the book about you not being allowed back in .. i pointed at the camera and mentioned the nice gent who invited me over to his table with angry guy??

Anyway believe me its different as lots of places were for long time ...

Went here to watch the Europa League final knowing nothing about the Greenock pub scene (took my old man and mum who've just moved there). Tried a few before finding this one - either Celtic pubs who were friendly but 'surprised to see us' (we didn't stay long, not looking for trouble), or 'neutral' venues that wouldn't let me in with the top my kids got me for my birthday. Cash only, no football colours like everywhere else - that might just be Rangers, not sure. Got in but asked to keep my jacket on all night. Bar staff seemed friendly. Older crowd...

Visited Greenock on cruise Anthem of the Seas found this little gem of a pub on walking round Greenock, Landlady was very kind and welcoming , toilets immaculate beer excellent Caladonia Best and Tennants on tap, could not believe price of a pint £3.10 Liverpool prices also , compared to Devon and surrounding areas so we are being ripped off in the South of England Memo to self move back to Scotland for a...
