Ate 3 nights here out of 4 and food was top notch. Pub grub done incredibly well, had fish and chips 2 nights on the bounce, batter light and chips tasted great, macaroni beautiful and chilli burger was a winner. Service quick and very friendly, DOG FRIENDLY too woohoo!!!!! water and dog biscuits for our wee pupper. Locals/regulars were also welcoming and friendly with tips on where to go etc and the local history. Will definitely...

Dog friendly pub. Dogs were welcomed with biscuits & water. Menu was limited, (as most are at the moment,) but the food we ordered was fab. Macaroni was gorgeous. Very generous portions. Staff all very friendly & chatty, as were the customers. Nothing too much trouble. A little out of the way from the centre, but worth a visit. Don’t be put off by the outside appearance.
