Harbourview Grille — Restaurant in Scotland

We had an excellent meal at the Harbour View Grille—easily the best food we had during our stay in Campbeltown, and we tried a few places! Generous portions meant we didn’t quite manage all three courses, so we finished off with a Springbank whisky instead, which was the perfect end to a great evening.

We were really well looked after by Sophie, who was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and worked incredibly hard all evening. She also joined in the banter, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Popped in for some late lunch/ early dinner after a day out down at Machrihanish and then Southend. Lovely warm atmosphere and comfortable seating, very clean toilets and really nice food. I ordered the rump steak that came with fried egg chips and salad with coleslaw and I had the whisky sauce, my wife order the Balmoral chicken that came with mashed potatoes and vegetables, we had a side of onion rings too. Excellent service and very good food. Visited here with my family on 26/07/25 and we're immediately made to feel welcome and despite a large number of us the staff instantly sorted out a table large enough to accommodate us all, the food was brilliant and the staff in my opinion went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy.
