The Victoria Bar — Restaurant in Great Britain

Great pub, friendly bar staff and great atmosphere. Went there to watch a couple of bands. The only problem was the complete weapon of a security man on the door who after a couple of hours of drinking peacefully in the pub and watching the bands decided he would not let me back in after I went out for a smoke. He wouldn't give me any reason as to why he was refusing me re-entry. I went back the following night when he was not on duty and went in the pub again and spoke to one of his colleagues who was as puzzled as I was as to why he refused me entry. The irony is that I am an SIA licensed Security Officer myself so would never cause any problems in a venue. He is the reason I've only given 2 stars for service otherwise it would...

Fantastic place to have a rack or two of pool, a few pints and a good time with good people. As one of the hosting pubs for the Dunoon pool league, the folk here are very welcoming and accepting, and showed me why Scotland is one of the premier countries in the world. Thank you to the owners...
