Our first time to the restaurant since the refurb. It's absolutely massive now, seems almost too big for the garden centre. Nice to have indoor toilets now though! When we arrived, it was very full, but not much of a queue at the till. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful, though the woman behind the till was somewhat abrupt, and practically threw the saucers and teaspoons for our hot drinks at the tray.

The food actually came very quickly, especially with just one chef in the open kitchen. I had a Mediterranean vegetable and houmous seeded roll. It was ok, little bits of quite oily aubergine and pepper on what tasted like an inexpensive roll, quite underwhelming but the houmous was nice. I think I had the bits from the bottom of a bag of crisps, and unfortunately the few salad leaves I had were a bit manky so I had to leave them. I would have expected better given the price. Very weak tea even after 10 minutes, so maybe stick to coffee or pay more for a better option if you like a good brew.

My mother enjoyed her jacket potato although the skin was too tough to eat, and said the coffee was very nice. I enjoyed my cake, although I had difficulty choosing. So many lovely options on offer.

It was so loud, obviously due to the size of the restaurant and number of people, and then on top of that they were trying to play music. It was quite hard to have a conversation, especially if one of you is hard of hearing.

I think on balance, I'd say that it's lost the friendly and quieter atmosphere of the old restaurant, definitely feels like a chain now (don't know if it is), possibly the savoury options need to just have a bit more care taken. All credit to the chef for getting the food out so quickly on such a busy day though. I'm sure it would be a lovely lunch on a quieter day. It's been beautifully decorated and the chairs are comfortable. It's...

Not for the first time we visited Wilton Garden Centre nor the cafe/restaurant but this time it hit everything you expect from a well run eatery and garden centre. We entered the restaurant first and was greeted by a very pleasant lady who guided us politely and professionally to a table of our choice and with a series of well written menus that covered an expansive list of selections, we made our choice in a pleasant, clean, and tidy environment. Ordering was simple and made again to a most pleasant person who made it very clear what the process was for taking the order, payment and delivery to our table (remember your number before joining the queue). The serving staff brought and served our meal in an extremely professional manner and to be fair was one of the best lunches we have had even though it was at a higher price than others we have used it was value for money. Leaving was hard as all of it was really pleasant but garden products was the main reason for the visit and even though some of the areas were empty (time of year) there was plenty to view and purchase including wild bird food (which was on our list). This is one of the better centres to visit with a polite and knowledgeable staff that are only too pleased to help you and I cannot recommend it...

We went to the New Kipling Parlor café at the beautiful Blue Diamond Wilton Garden Centre. It's a lovely garden centre and not only has a great selection of plants, pots, garden furniture, chemicals, sundries, compost seasonal, toys and clothes plus there is a Maidenhead aquatics in the centre too. The new Cafe is absolutely stunning. Beautifully presented and furnished. Wonderful cakes and brilliant menus. There is a patisserie chef on site and you can see her working. The chefs are in full view too. The food was lovely we had main course lunch and was brilliant 😊. There are a lot of tables but it doesn't feel cramped at all. When the summer comes there is and outside seating area. There are also a few tables inside near the entrance that you can have your dog with you and ofcourse outside in the summer too. The staff were friendly and very professional. Keeping tables cleared and your food being brought to you. The staff were brilliant and obviously working very well as a team as every area was being covered by them. Excellent accessible toilets yoo. Absolutely awesome 👍. Well done to you all ☺️. Keep it up and I wish you the greatest of success. See you soon...

Appalling customer service. I queued for 15 mins for takeaway cakes. They advertise the cakes as takeaway with 10% off. When I got to the till I was made to feel like an inconvenience. There was no takeaway boxes when you pick cakes so I had to put them on plates until we got to the till. The lady refused to help put them in boxes because even had to ask for the utensil she was holding to do it myself. She also told me it wasn’t 10% off as advertised, someone had to tell her that it indeed was. She kept ignoring my order for a coffee and after asking 3 times I got the wrong order. Quite frankly I think ordering to takeaway was too much work so she just wanted to get rid of me. It’s very overpriced for the service you get.

Really like this garden centre and the new cafe is amazing. The cafe has been refurbished and is now very big, warm and busy which is always a good sign. We only had hot drinks and cake which was amazing, so much choice when it comes to the cakes 🍰. The hot food looked amazing and the portions were brilliant. Toilets were nice and clean. The garden centre was fully stocked with Christmas gifts and Christmas trees but still had lots of shrubs etc but it’s the wrong time of year for garden plants. Plenty of parking and good access around the garden centre. Definitely worth a visit and the cafe is a real must.
