I was quite disappointed and upset by the situation that happened to me at the takeaway fish and chip stand today I went into to get me and my friend some chips I ordered and waited to the side for the chips to come out 15 minuets later I was still stood there waiting as I understand they was busy so i was being patient but was getting frustrated as I was seeing multiple people ordering after me and getting there food before I had so after this I had questioned a staff member and very patiently said I'm sorry I'm still waiting for two chips to come out and I've been hear 15 minuets I got a very rude response of the staff member giving me Glear and making hand gestures at me i was already super anxious in a tight space that was super busy didn't know how to react to this behaviour just apologise for bothering him in which got no response and then saw him angrily telling his colleague that I complained about not having my order yet who just done my chips and gave them to me and just said there we go okay with no apology at all given and the complete agriant reaction to this I would have understood if I was rude and had not waited long but I had waited and was polite also seeing others coming and going within 5 minutes this really did upset me as I was only trying to remind them about my order as I knew they must had forgotten with them being busy there was just no need to treat someone in this...

Terable experience. Visited this place on Monday. They didn't open the cafe section until 10am. So I went for a walk and returned when they had opened.

There were a number of walkers now sitting outside, most were only drinking tea or coffee.

The cafe inside was empty. I went in past the lady on the counter. No acknowledgement what so ever. Impression given, I am not interested.

I took a seat and the woman behind the counter continued serving tea, coffee etc through a side window to the walkers outside. By now l had been waiting around 10 minutes!

Thinking she was busy l waited, again no acknowledgement what so ever apart from a very unpleasant look! Then face down, you don't exist!! 😔 15 minutes now and still nothing. So decided to leave. Again passing the lady on the counter. Guess what NOTHING. No can l help you or even cheers see you again, NO YOU WON'T!! Just yet again a blank and unpleasant look!!

Worst experience I have ever had. I have eaten here in the past. The food was not great, but let it go that time. Furtuatly l found a place called Storm House near by. So glad I did, read my review. If the owner of the Marine Cafe w oui like to see how a place should be run, look no further than you nabours at the Storm House or send your team here for some serious retraining and reconcider your very...

The cafe is in a great location and is exactly what you want from a beachside cafe. The food choice is classic cafe, with jacket potatoes, BLT, all-day breakfast, etc, and is presented nicely.

There is indoor and outdoor seating and a toilet for customers inside. Inside is quite tight, with not much room for pushchairs and wheelchairs, but appears to be dog friendly, which is a bonus (assuming you like dogs).

The main downside for me was the noise level. The combination of the music, conversation, and kitchen noise made it sound really loud, which I found a bit much. However, don't let that detract from the fact that it is a great little cafe in a good location, with free...

Beautiful scenery, delicious meal, great customer service. I visited with my friend, and it was a warm reception from arrival, we made our orders, and we were served afterwards. I was going to order the all day breakfast but I wanted the harsh brown added to the meal, seeing that it was cost effective to have the big boys breakfast, where I would have everything included in the meal, I opted to give it a try, I enjoyed the meal, it was tasty, though I was so full at the end 🤣 as I took time to stand up 🤣 after eating. Nevertheless, I took a long walk down the beach and took loads of beautiful pictures 📸 while strolling, and the end it was a nice experience, and I would sure do it again 😀.

We popped in here due to the heavy rain today with my two dogs and family. We were informed the cafe was dog friendly so could sit outside or inside. You have to order at the counter, but food is served to you. We asked for the table to be cleaned, which staff did straightaway. I had jacket potatoes, cheese, and beans with a side salad for £6. My brother had fish n chips we he enjoyed. My mother had a bacon butty. The food was delicious. Reasonable pricing for the food and drinks. Only one toilet. Wheelchair friendly outside and a few tables inside near the entrance. They have a takeaway section to. Staff were friendly and approachable.

Absolutely brilliant place to eat. The café itself is very beach front small town style room, which could be slightly tight for disabled people (i.e wheelchairs). However the food is beautiful, homely and good quality for the price. Referencing the All Day Breakfast for £4.95, you are talking 2 thick large rashers of bacon, 2 large sausages, well cooked beans (or tomatoes), toast, fried bread or bread & butter and a fried egg. Kitchen is open and clean. Café is bolted on to the Fish and Chip shop.
