Warm welcome from what we guessed was the owner or manager. Quickly delivered us 2 pints of Kingfisher. They weren’t cold as there was something wrong with the cooler; but the waiter was very kind and put some Cobra bottles in the freezer. Poppadoms were nice and the red sauce that accompanied them was very flavoursome. Told the manager/owner that we needed more time before placing our order and he said fine, just call me over whenever you’re ready to place your order. However he returned a few minutes later and said tell me what you like I’ll order for you. Not what I wanted to hear to be honest. Don’t like be pressured into making an order, the place wasn’t busy at all. Portion size were poor on starters; almost £5 for 4 tiny pieces of lamb and loads of onion! Great flavour for the Rana Special and the Naga but the Naga lacked heat and the chicken was sparse. The keema rice was very tasty and the peshwari and garlic naan’s were flavoured well, although the garlic naan was a burnt on one side. The strawberry cheesecake for dessert was straight out of the freezer and was that hard, your could use it to build a house. Lastly, the manager/owner was sat in the booth behind us playing videos loudly, which was...

From the poppadoms with its exquisite relishes, perfectly fried onion bhajees, tender lamb tikka succulent chicken tikka and sheek kebabs served with the most delicious crisp salad.
