The Unicorn Inn — Restaurant in Harborough

Good little traditional boozer with character and a decent crowd. Range of beer seemed good - and the Wainwright I had was just right. Pretty busy for a Wednesday evening, and the locals and bar lady were friendly - not the reception you always get in a little local.

Decor is a bit dated, but interesting photos of old Lutterworth on the walls alongside some old branded whisky mirrors and horse collars. Few TVs showing sports, but not too intrusive with a banners to say they show the rugby (although it was hockey when I went). Two rooms and a small outside area (although it was facing onto the car park so not too inviting) so if you don't want to see the TV you can get away from it easily enough.

Fantastic home cooked food at a great price had Roast Pork, Mashed potato (real) peas, carrots cabbage crackling to die for £3.75 have used this place for over 10 years , never wanted to tell anyone about it in case could never get in. Give it a try you will be so impressed
