Cock Inn — Restaurant in Harlow

I’m a Taxi driver from Norwich who was on his way down to London on Saturday 8th Feb, car got a split coolant pipe on the M11 / M25 junction. I made my way back to the next biggest town. I turned up there at midday when it opened, explained what happened and the staff and locals couldn’t have been nicer. I had food and a drinks there which was very nice and good value. They let me take refuge there and couldn’t have gone more out of their way there to he hospitable as I was there nearly 8 hours there. Would certainly go back when in the area. Thank you so much. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time here for our first time back to a pub after covid. The staff were lovely and attentive, and we really experienced the fantastic service this place has to offer. This pub needs a total makeover. This was a "go-to pub" back in the day but is now seriously run down. The staff, including what apeard to be the manager, were standing laughing and joking while my wife and I were standing at the bar waiting to be served as if invisible. This place could be an amazing pub once again if a little effort were put into customer care and maybe a new cleaner. Just a thought!
