Really lovely vegetarian and vegan cafe/restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff. Food and coffees were very good, enjoyed by the whole family, including our meat eaters. We had toasted sandwiches, paninis, a black bean quesadilla, skinny fries (nice and crispy), lattes (one with coconut milk), hot chocolates with cream amd marshmallows, Christmas cookie, apple strudel and cake. Was very tempted by the Christmas themed items but was won over by the quesadilla! The cafe is relatively small, but most people came in for takeaways this evening (a steady stream of customers) so only us and one other table were seated around 4-5pm. Kitchen is in full view, so you can see the food being prepared. The lighting changed for the evening, made for a nice cosy atmosphere. It's in a row of shops and takeaways by the Community Centre, so plenty of parking in the car park. There is also a children's park close by and Ancell Farm Nature Reserve for a walk, just over the main road. Will definitely return....

I have been coming to the restaurant since the opening and am blown away at how delicious all the food is and the choices on the menu. It is simply incredible. As a family run business, Colm and Alex have created a haven of peace, and the menu just keeps getting better! I have a dairy intolerance and can eat anything on the menu! Each dish I have had, from the burgers, the curry and the wraps are all bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and made with the freshest ingredients.

And the puddings are just gorgeous. Have a brownie, pistachio carrot cake or the Biscoff cheesecake- yum!

The team at The Greenhouse Fleet are very accommodating with nothing too much trouble.

I’ve taken my team and friends here for coffee, breakfast, lunch and the evenings and each time we come walking away wondering just do they keep making such delicious food.

I simply cannot recommend them enough and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Thank you for giving your gifts and talent and...

This place is amazing! The food was one of the best vegan food we have ever tasted. We were so glad The Greenhouse was recommend to us whilst we were in the area and it was definitely worth the visit. We are all about portions and these were huge. We had the burger and the Christmas wrap which by the way was the best wrap ever with so many flavours going on. We also had their brownies which were recommended to us and kind of the reason why we visited in the first place and they were incredible! So chewy and moist! We took them home and had them with some vanilla ice cream and they were amazing. We also had their vegan sausage rolls and oh my gosh, they were out of this world! The chutney or whatever the secret Ingredient was inside makes them so flavourful and not dry like some rolls can be! They were definitely my favourite out of the whole lot! The packaging was also super eco friendly, well packed and all recyclable! We can't shout about this place...

Let me put this into context, I am not a vegetarian and my work requires me to travel the world and rely on restaurants for my meals every day for weeks at a time. This time my visit was for valentine's dinner with my wife, I was home and home is around the corner, so we thought we'd try this new place. I could not have been more pleased. The food I had at the greenhouse was some of the most delicious I've ever eaten. The lattice with "meat" filling was so unbelievable I had to confirm with one of the staff to see if that one dish was actually meat. It wasn't. It tasted almost like ground Kobe beef, the real one. The seasoning was perfect. This is a small place, it seems family run. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Some of the sides were simple, in confection and origin. The kitchen is tiny so they have to be practical. But the centre piece and confection of each dish makes it all work.

We visited this cafe yesterday for some breakfast and had such a lovely time! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. We ordered 2 full English’s and a stack of pancakes and everything was delicious! The food was very good quality and definitely worth the price, there was also a huge range of cakes, deserts and savoury bakes in the chiller which we were eyeing up the whole morning! We came away with a chocolate brownie, biscoff cheesecake and a curry onion bhaji pasty - it was all eaten incredibly quickly and was equally as tasty as our breakfasts! I’m so pleased we found this cafe and can’t wait to go back to try out more delicious food. There was plenty of free car parking outside and a very accessible place to get to. I would highly recommend whether you’re vegan or not - you’ll be impressed!
