Trattoria La Casa — Restaurant in Hart

Absolutely incredible experience. My wife and I went to Trattoria La Casa for a date night and it honestly turned into one of the best evenings we’ve had in ages. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel relaxed and looked after — Murray served us and was genuinely brilliant throughout. Friendly, switched-on, and clearly passionate about making sure people enjoy themselves. It never felt forced or robotic, just natural and welcoming.

The food? Flawless. Every course felt like it had been cooked with real care — full of flavour, beautifully presented, and just genuinely satisfying. We weren’t rushed between courses either, which let us properly enjoy each dish and the evening as a whole. You could tell straight away that this wasn’t just a kitchen churning out plates — the food had that kind of soul you only get when people actually love what they’re doing.

I’ve been here a couple of times before for breakfast and always thought it was a lovely little spot — great coffee, peaceful vibe, and a quality start to the day. But dinner was on another level. I’d been meaning to come back and try it in the evening for a while and I’m genuinely glad I finally did. It had a different energy — cosy, warm, and intimate without feeling too formal or stiff.

By the time we left, we both said the same thing: we need to do that more often. It wasn’t just a meal, it was a proper night out that felt special. Definitely somewhere I’ll be coming back to — not because someone told me to, but because I had a genuinely great time and want to...

We LOVE La Casa for so many reasons, when I say 'we; I mean my friends and I and my husband and my family who come from miles away to meet at La Casa.

Firstly, the staff greet you as you walk in, they really are so lovely and good at their job, professional, attentive, but not over the top, in a good way and friendly.

Secondly, the food is delicious. I often have the Calamari, pate or the pesto, mozzerella and courgette dish, they are all my fav starters. Then the main course, pasta, pizza, rice dishes all so tasty. I have yet to try the Calzone, they are apparently lovely, they are also big for the hungry diner!

It is the sort of place where you can go on your own, feel comfortable and safe. I see a lot of people do that and that speaks volumes about the place. There are also many regulars who come back on a regular basis and enjoy a lovely meal, a coffee, a glass of wine or a beer outside, and the live music which is often on a Wednesday night.

I have been there when people were literally dancing in the street and in the restaurant, even the staff have joined in at times, all adding to the most special atmosphere.

La Casa is a gem of a restaurant, ideal for solo meals, coffees, cosy twosomes, family nights, nights out with friends, girls nights out, boys nights out or those celebratory nights that we all love. We go often and we see all of these, so we speak from experience.

THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN FLEET

I've been visiting Trattoria La Casa for many years now, having visited at least 30 to 40 times. I've visited with family and friends, both in small and large groups (25+ guests) and can honestly say that this is one of our favorite restaurants.

The food quality is extremely good and in my opinion way above that of their larger competitors in Fleet. There is a very good menu choice with special recommendations regularly on offer and is very reasonably priced. Added to this the service is outstanding with all the staff always being welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself has a generally nice feel about it, is very clean with the tables always neatly laid out. Live Acoustic Music is also played on certain evenings (but is never too loud).

Over the years I've visited for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Take Away and the quality and service is very consistent. As such Trattoria La Casa has become my go-to restaurant in Fleet.

If you're looking for an Italian Restaurant in Fleet (or even somewhere for a Coffee or Full English Breakfast), then really do go here! I always recommend Trattoria La Casa and will continue to do so.
