Went for a late breakfast today, was seated and within seconds was approached asking did we want to order any drinks,we stated that we would like few minutes to actually look at the menu! We placed our order for food and drinks. Our drinks order was brought out to us and then our food was out. Food was beautiful, very nicely presented too and hot!! However we do feel that some of the staff lacked somewhat in their communication skills. Not much in the way of manners and at no point was we asked if our food was ok,basic skills really. Felt a little uncomfortable in the respect that there was at least 5/6 members of staff just stood about. We had barely put our knives and forks down when we were approached by a member of staff who said you finished? Then took our plates. The table next to us was somewhat a little close for comfort and the two ladies had their food brought out,one of which had pancakes with nutella on. As I have a severe nut allergy I became very mindful of this and my daughter got the bill so we could leave immediately!! I did not put my mask on to leave as I could feel my lips start to tingle and needed to get outside in the air and take the appropriate medication . We did not have the time to approach any management due to myself needing to be out in the air. Overall a lovely place to visit, and this would not put us off visiting again. Beautifully decorated, very clean and tidy. Food prep area was clean, the coffee bar looked of a very expensive product and the coffee tasted fantastic. Before anyone jumps all over this post,I have set up bars and restaurants myself,I'm fully aware of food and hygiene standards, training and well being of staff. I even read the posts on fleet people page whilst this establishment was being set up,and people were unkind. My review is not meant to be malicious or hurtful in anyway, just bringing awareness. So yes I will visit again and look forward to trying out many more of the delicious foods on...

We went on a busy Sunday morning.

It took 45 minutes for our food to be served. I appreciate during busy times service is slower, but the greeter/wait staff should have managed our expectations. While waiting, no one came to ask if we wanted more drinks.

After we made our order we were then asked to move table so they could fit a larger group by putting tables together. We didn't want to be obnoxious by refusing, but we were moved to a table by the toilets and the toddler play area.

Lack of attention from staff meant we had to go to the counter to get our bill.

And because we had moved tables, they didn't know what our order was. So we had to itemise it for them.

Generally I think these issues were caused because the management did not have enough staff on. Didn't want to complain as it's not the waitresses fault and she was doing her best.

For some reason they put fruit on the plate with savoury breakfast food. Even if you move it your food gets the sweet taste of pineapple/melon. Maybe just serve a portion of fruit in its own plate/bowl?

The food is not worth the price. Eg £12 for two waffles. There's a good amount of fruit on the plate, but it's still too much for prepackaged waffles that are just reheated. The breakfast was ok, but again it's pretty expensive and nothing special to justify the price.

There are other cafes near by, and will be using...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this lovely restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the food and the exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and made to feel right at home.

The menu offered a great selection of dishes, ranging from classic breakfast items to more elaborate lunch and dinner options. I opted for the avocado toast with poached eggs, which was absolutely delicious. The avocado was perfectly ripe and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The coffee was also excellent, with a rich and robust flavor.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming and comfortable environment. The food and service were both exceptional, and I can't wait to go back and try more...

My favourite place in Fleet (and surrounding area!) for a lovely late breakfast/ brunch/ lunch. Great decor, nice vibe, really friendly staff and consistently delicious food. (I Recommend the New York breakfast (£12, a bit steep but a nice treat) and the GORGEOUS eggs Benedict.. HIGE portion and best poached eggs on the planet!!) Only complaint is the cappuccino recently has got very weak (PLEASE sort this out!!) It is expensive, £12 for breakfast/brunch, £15 including coffee!!) but both Cafe Amici (opposite) and the Alento Lounge are similar. The price we pay for living in an ‘affluent’ area like Fleet I guess🙄 But of the 3 the atmosphere and size of Two Spoons is by far the best. (Amici feels like an old school ‘Cafe’, and the lady owner is always stressed and a little rude. Alento lounge is ENORMOUS, dark and cold. Feels like you are eating in a pub) So yes, 5 stars for Two Spoons ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Originally ordered a salt beef burger which came at a different time to my partner's meal so we ate at different times, then the salt beef burger was extremely dry that I had to send it back. Replaced it with a beef burger which was fine but it meant I ate when my partner finished his meal. My partner had the chickerella which was pricey for 2 small chicken breasts, chips and a salad. Matcha, raspberry and jasmine cake was questionable... no hint of matcha at all and dyed a very horrific bright green colour. The artificial taste was sickly. Service could be better as I had to keep waving the waitresses over or grab their attention. Will probably go back to give them another try but not in any rush to

Update May 2025: Another lovely breakfast. Poached eggs and smashed advocado. This time, instead of bacon, it was a whole lot of salmon! Lovely! Update October 2024: I would recommend smashed advocado on sourdough with bacon and poached eggs. It was very tasty and value for money. Never been in here before. Always had the impression of it as a greasy spoon café. Pleasantly surprised to see it wasn't. The food looked well presented and tasted nice. Atmosphere was a bit dampened. A touch loud when we were in. Staff were pleasant but just needed to be a bit more engaging. Eye contact and free flowing conversation. Felt rehearsed and perfunctory. Overall nice experience. Would visit again.
