I never usually complain but this experience was at best AWFUL. We visited the Havant branch of burger king on the 13/08/2021 at 4.50pm. First thing we where greeted with an unhappy customer who's food was cold and missing items. We then made our order at 4:58pm using the touch screen machine. While waiting there was many frustrated just eat drivers pacing up and down waiting for orders. We waited patiently but after 30 min it became frustrating so i went to the counter to be told it was on the way. Whilst stood there i saw food piled high and to the back of the heater. I counted between 8-10 flies buzzing around landing on packaging and disorganised staff with not a manager in sight. We then noticed that staff where only seem to be serving drive through. We got our order 34 min after ordering which was supposed to be a XL bacon double cheese burger meal with NO bacon. a royale with cheese meal and 2 kids chicken nugget meals. Firstly all the meals where squashed in to one unmarked bag. all the food was squashed and the chips had all fallen out and where all over the place. Then we find that after eating our chips once sorting them the XL bacon had bacon when i asked for none, The royale with cheese was cold and the bun was hard. I took them back to the front only to wait a further 15 min for replacements. In that time another family brought their food back for being cold and wrong. The children's chicken nuggets where hard and over done. We eventually got the food but by that point we had finished everything else and it seemed worthless. This meal cost us £22.06 which is disgusting considering how the experience and food where. The short of it is. the food was cold and wrong, many people where returning food, staff where confused and seemed untrained, flies landing everywhere. angry just eat drivers pacing up and down and just awful organisation not to mention management. Read moreIn my life I have travelled far and ate a wide range of cuisines but one can honestly say that one has never visited a high street fast food chain, However needs must as I was most hungry and on the verge of causing serious harm to someone. I spotted Burger King located in the historic market town of Havant. Upon reaching the entrance I was greeted by a very helpful and polite young man who opened the door for me, being a very observant individual I made a note of the chaps name “Freddy” before I even got to the counter I noticed that the restaurant was really rather quite nice the music really set the ambiance and the floor, well the floor was like something from a flash advert the way it gleemed and shined at me. After a few moments in the que i was called over to terminal three by the same helpful young man who opened the door for me moments earlier, i explained to Freddy that this was my first visit to Burger King and that I was very excited, I asked what he recommend and he advised that the whooper meal was very highly rated so I went with that and had a black coffee too. The meal was Devine the salad was fresh and the meat had to be grade A standard, and the bun was as soft as a cloud. Read moreEDIT: Shortly after I posted this review, this Burger King had a refurbishment. Although the location is convenient for me working and living locally, the employees are polite but previously did not often deliver with a consistent service time and quality of service, I've had numerous foodstuffs that I've ordered that have got home to find they were charged for but not accounted for with my actual meal. This has not happened for a while, although I have not experienced this at the local competitive McDonald's restaurant on the high street, despite McDonald's higher volumes of customers (which makes me wonder). However the food still tasted good and in that respect you always got what you pay for, assuming they didn't forget to put it in your bag.
However now these issues have been resolved, as I left it a year or two and went back to find every order to be bang on and very professionally dealt with at the checkouts. Would recommend for...
