Plenty of room for our puppy to have a good run without worry. It's a big clean open grassed park, although parking and traffic was a big issue on Sat pm - but a local said it was always congested......... Good for families though with a nice enclosed play area provided for children. Shame the little coffee shop closed at 3pm as many wandered by at 4ish(us included) hoping to buy a drink. Overall, a nice relaxing place where one, or groups of people, can sit alone and read peacefully or enjoy each other's company without feeling cramped. We met up with other dog owners there; we all have PAT (Pets As Therapy) dogs and all had a great time. But it is just a big green park with a children's enclosed play area and 2 fenced off tennis courts right by Havant...
ย ย ย Read moreWent to the park with my 2x dogs for a mini picnic I tried to tie the younger one to a tree with his longline lead when he saw 2x pugs on leads and decided to escape out of his harness and then ran round in circles which made me panic but I managed to get him back with a Wilko meaty strip, I got him tied to the tree his sister didn't need hers as she was as good as gold without it but it was good being able to just chill for a few minutes before packing up and walking home with the shopping in my beach cart that I use for my heavy shopping wish we could have stayed longer as it was a lovely day but colder...

There is a carved tribute QEII, which is a well executed wood carved sculpture that visitors can access. A small children's playground, goal posts, tennis courts, cricket pitch, and pavilion. Occasional hosting of circus, good accessibility to and from shops, cafes, etc. Limited parking close by but adjacent to rail and bus stations. It is best to walk or bike there, and don't forget to take your litter home and clean up...
