Awful Italian food
We ordered the Aubergine Parmigiana, Prawn Linguine and Tiramasui. Unfortunately, all three were the worst I have ever had .
the Aubergine Parmigiana - was not fresh - the aubergine was like tough leather unable to eat. Possibly not cooked enough and frozen . Sauce was fine but pretty tasteless.
Pasta was tasteless and again not fresh - A small black short hair was found in the food !
Tiramisus - was the worst I have ever had . Definately frozen and when we pressed On the sponge water was coming out of it . Dreadful Normally I don’t like to give bad reviews and put it a one off but this restaurant need to start tasting and looking at what they are delivering. How they can charge these prices £35 for this and serve up food like this .
Regrettably I would definately NOT recommend food from here . I called the restaurant and their defence was that noone had complained before . Being a pretty good cook myself , most definately this food is not fresh and out of the freezer . I had to do this review as Indont want others wasting their money ! Worst Uber eats...
Read moreThis is a small, unassuming Italian restaurant that one might be forgiven for thinking probably offers standard high Street Italian fare. But it doesn't - the food is exceptionally good and easily rivals some of the best Italian food you'll find in central London. The desserts were brilliant as well. The service was a little bit basic and the ambience and decor likewise. But it doesn't matter and can be forgiven - the food is that good and amazing to find in this location.
A classic and really extensive menu (especially for the size of restaurant) with simple, familiar dishes but all of it was executed brilliantly. A great find, a great chef and I highly...
Read moreA genuine top end chef, who has his name above the door. This is the real thing and they call him "chef" and mean it. Simple tagliatelle bolognese will prove the perfection and skill. It's absurdly delicious for something that sounds basic. It ain't! But as for stuff like the squid...if you enjoy calamari, his is fresh, made to order and tastes heavenly. Crunchy and yet fragrant when you bite through a batter better than tempura. The man's a culinary HERO! It means you will never like anywhere else's squid ..ever again. Unless that's in the Mediterranean.... awesome food...but a bit cramped and full..very few tables. I live very close by and have sat down but also taken away. Bushey is madly lucky to have...
