I generally like going to Costa Coffee in Potters Bar. The staff are always friendly and helpful, even when busy. What I don't like is the fact I can't bring my dog in. She's a pug, also friendly and likes a fuss made of her from other customers. Lots of places are allowing dogs in now. Cafe Nero issued a statement saying there are no health and safety laws preventing us from allowing dogs in our stores. So they do. Food is only microwaved by the counter, not prepared. Chris Packham can't understand why we don't have a more easy-going attitude like the French in this respect. So come on Costa - I'll give you 5 stars if you review...
Read moreVery poor experience. Not been in there for while, had a birthday free treat so decided to pop in. No cakes, just a few pastries, had to wait 9 minutes for my 'latte' even though there was no queue. When it eventually arrived it didn't even look like a latte, no froth on top and very watery. I queried it with the manager who brought it over to me and was told ' it was made by the trainee'!! He should never have brought it to a paying customer if it was not made correctly. Using the wrong milk, not texturising correctly, short changing people very frequently because of lack of attention to detail when handling money, and burning milk very frequently.
It’s also very poorly maintained at front of house every time I go in.
There’s one lady, slim with dark hair and a slight Essex accent, and she is fantastic.
