This pub looks nice and clean from the outside and the staff are friendly and the service is fast. We went in twice while visiting the area. The first time we got a drink and sat outside. We went back a second time to eat, we ordered 2 fish and chips and drinks. While waiting for our food we noticed the windows were very dirty inside and out. Our food came out quite quickly which we were happy about as we were quite hungry but it was not great looking. The fish was so paper thin at some points that the batter had nothing to hold onto and had fallen off. The mushy peas were just like a green slope thrown on the plate snd were cold. I got beans which were in a little container which was great but they were cold 😕 Of course as this is a weatherspoons the prices are very reasonable. Please clean...

What an absolute shambles of a pub. Have used the pub since it opened has gradually gone down hill. Very dark,gloomy no welcoming atmosphere. Positioning of chairs and tables makes it look like a second hand furniture shop, not very wheelchair or mobility friendly. My husband went for breakfast today as he does quite often, however there was NO BREAD, only brioche. Food not good his brother who normally has toast after a fry up couldn’t have this,however ,they brought him butter and Jam. The ladies toilets are absolutely disgusting . This pub needs a good overhaul. Starting with manager as they obviously are not doing a good enough job. Will not be going back. Shame as we have lots of friend in there and was...

Staff are friendly, apart from Fridays and Saturdays. One bouncer, who quite frankly is an absolute authority freak.. any sort of noise, or banter between me and my friends will result in a telling off “you can do this outside”, instead of politely asking us to keep it down.. Yesterday was the final straw, we were just having a laugh between us and i would like to add, not loud at all. Yet again he comes over and is rude. We all laughed at him, necked our pints and walked out. Completely ruins the atmosphere and I would rather drink elsewhere.
