I recently ordered a Japanese sushi platter for my husband’s 50th birthday, and I can't express enough how delighted we were with My Muki. We’ve always enjoyed ordering from there and this time wanted something special. They were great at recommending what to have. The sushi was a masterpiece, both on the quality of the food, its freshness and multiplicity of flavours, which were only topped by the presentation in a lovely centrepiece. Each piece was prepared clearly by a chef who not only has the authentic craft but loves what he does. It was almost too beautiful to eat, but my husband and our friends couldn’t wait to go for it and then told us they were holding back just to be polite! You have to wait a little bit of time because they actually make and prepare the sushi for each individual. The owner and the staff are all informative and kind.
You can buy a selection of Sushi Maki (rolls) but it's also sort of a Japanese store that sells proper authentic Japanese food and snacks etc.
I am half Japanese and have been eating Japanese food my whole life. The food is great and my Mother is definitely happy she can shop here more often rather than drive down to Finchley where...
