Had take away so haven't rated the atmosphere. Food was fresh, hot and very tasty! We ordered over the phone and the food was ready when i arrived. I asked how much extra poppadoms would be as we forgot to order them... the waiter gave me them for free and rounded the cost down to £20! Great service. My wife said it was the best Indian she had had for a long time.

Too much grease, was on the toilet for days. Bad service. Used to be good. Never going again. No parking. Dirty toilets. Poo thru the eye of a needle.

One word sums up my first visit on Saturday evening "awful".

We was booked in for a small birthday dinner, when we arrived we was taken to the function room upstairs which was very cold with no heating on when we arrived, we asked for the heating to be turned on which took 45 mins for the room to warm up, I asked for a pint of pepsi when we arrived as I was designated driver for the evening this request was ignored and we had to ask again 20 mins later, the rest of the party had brought in drinks as the venue has no alcohol licence.

The venue is run down and clearly some areas need some repairs which does not give a great impression.

Food was served, I had garlic mushrooms for a starter and could not taste any garlic and then asked for a steak as I don't eat very spicy food, I was told they don't have steak, I then ordered a mushroom omelette and chips, the omelette was fine, chips where clearly frozen chips brought in bulk and tasteless, the food standard would be what I would expect from a typical cheap cafe in a town centre market not from a restaurant.

When the meal ended the waiter accidentally dropoed some cutlery which landed on my white top (brought that day brand new for our evening out) The waiter then said it was my fault and that I was drunk, given I was driving and only had 2 glasses of Pepsi, I find that totally unacceptable and totally unprofessional, we didn't even get a sorry from the waiter.

My top is now stained and even after using vanish stain remover and washing there is still a faint stain.

The service was poor, unprofessional, the food was not of a acceptable standard for a restaurant and the decor was tatty and in need of repairs.

I didn't say anything or complain on our visit as I felt it would of ended the evening badly and this was my friend's birthday meal out so I didn't want to cause a scene as the night was a celebration of her birthday and not about me.

Very disappointed with this restaurant and will...

there was 5 of us as a family all having a 5 course meal at 11.95 a person but one of them courses is 1 popadom each and rice or a naan bread count as a course the food was okay but the service was terrible and the waiters just threw your food down and spilt bits of your meal also they touched the knife and spoon where you put it in your mouth and not the handle which is really unhygienic also the desert was 1 scoop of ice cream with one tiny wafer and when he threw it down the wafer fell out and they didnt replace it for a new one and when we told them how bad the service was they smiled and said we will speak to the staff we spent 75 pound there and it was the biggest waste of money i have ever spent in my life please avoid...

Had a very awkward encounter with the person taking the order that gave us the impression he wanted us to leave before we come back to collect it. When we eventually got back with the food we realised two items were missing, as they don't seemingly deliver we asked for the money back and in fairness it did come back in 20 mins after the call as promised. The food was of an acceptable standard maybe verging on good but having experienced curry many many times I cannot say it stood out at all and certainly the experience was tainted by the missing items of my friends. I would try it and see how it fairs but if I was staying in the area again then I wouldn't...
