Visited Bridge bakehouse for the 1st time after trying some of their goodies at one of their wholesale. Wow the counter selection was incredible, so much variety. I went for their deal of 4 itens for £15.00 and selected a churro cookie that was really nice, the snickers brownie that was packed with flavour (the only thing that I would point is that personally I would prefer the top chocolate layer was more soft rather than hard chocolate, but still very yummy), the caramel and pistachio blondie was really nice (they completely nail the blondie fudginess that I love) and a biscoff slice that was really good as well. We didn't try the pastries or cakes so I can't comment on that. But their cookies, brownies and blondies are outstanding and always really good. Everytime we drive to this area we buy some goodies at the local places they supply as wholesale. If you are in the area, definitely try it out

Called on a Monday afternoon. Disappointing unfortunately. It's not really a cafe. It's a bakery with plastic, pink and purple chairs and tables outside (not very clean - we saw no cleaning between customers at all)on a very busy road. I don't remember seeing any indoor seating. Coffee is in cardboard cups and food was served in cardboard boxes. 'Cakes' were all traybakes or that type and £4 a piece. As I suffer with dysphagia (due to extensive radiotherapy not just fussy!) we asked if it was possible to have some pouring cream so that I would be able to swallow it but that was just a flat 'no'. Staff didn't appear terribly happy 😕 But it has 5 stars for food and hygiene and seemed popular so if you're after a takeaway (and don't have any eating problems) it is quite adequate (hopefully the staff were just having an off day🤷🏻‍♀️)

My partner and I were over from Australia recently and stayed with our family in Whaley. We visited the Bakehouse several times and had an amazing experience every time. The food quality and variety was excellent, and we both received excellent customer service. The lovely ladies behind the counter gave us several travel recommendations, often asking us on our next visit how our day trips had been. I have also been to the Bakehouse on previous trips back home, and have always had consistent 5 star service, food and drinks. Keep up the great work ladies - we can’t wait to come back for another visit!!

Today ( 8th May) my wife and myself stopped to have lunch here, unfortunately just in front of me were 2 old ladies and one of them was complaining about the taste of the delicious looking cakes saying about the taste wasn't the same as they used to be taste wise ( I take it the lady behind the counter may have been the owner told them nothing in their recipe had changed and she was very patient listening to them ) but nevertheless they still bought the same cakes that they complained about!🙄 In all this time I still hadn't made up my mind what to have from the extensive menu when a voice behind me butted in ( I'm glad he did ) and complemented the ladies on what a brilliant sandwich he had, I then enquired what did he choose the lovely owner said Get Ya Goat, you've pulled, it compromised of Sausage from the local butcher, soft goats cheese and caramelised Onion Chutney so, I ordered 2 with a cup of Yorkshire tea. Once we finished I then went in myself and complimented when a great sandwich it was in fact it was absolutely BANGING👌. Well done to the team of ladies at the Bridge bakehouse what a find , it's well worth a visit folks you won't be...

💫🩷If you’re looking for the ultimate spot in Whaley Bridge, Bridge Bakehouse is the place to be! From the moment you step through the door, you’re welcomed by an incredible team who go above and beyond to make every visit special.

The brownies and cakes? Absolute perfection. They’re indulgent, decadent, and honestly some of the best we’ve ever had—they’re to die for! Having had a cake business for 7 years in a previous life, I’m very fussy when it comes to Brownies & Cake - And these are some of the Best I’ve eaten !!! The coffee is always spot-on, rich, and smooth - The dirty chai latte is Tremendous. The perfect pairing with their sweet treats.

And the service?💫🩷 Just mega! The girls behind the counter are friendly, warm, and genuinely lovely. You can feel their passion for what they do, and it makes the whole experience even better. Just an awesome bunch of amazing women.

We can’t recommend Bridge Bakehouse enough—fab people, fab food, fab vibes. It’s a little slice of heaven in Whaley Bridge! We are very lucky to have them on our doorstep 💫🩷Keep smashing it Bridge...

My mother has purchased brownies etc from here for a while. Very large and very tasty (half is enough to satisfy me).

Bridge house came to my attention when the ‘Cheesus Christ!’ letter appeared in the news. Was meaning to go for a while to sample this sandwich as the description sounded very appealing. Typically, expectations are never as good as reality however the Cheesus Christ! was just as good as I’d imagined it to be. The coffee was also great too (not too heavy).

I’m not a fussy eat, but when looking at a typical menu only about 30-40% of the meals stand out. This wasn’t the case with bridge house. When looking at all the other sandwich options, at least 90% of the butties stood out!

Will be returning here to sample the other sandwiches very soon. I just hope they stay in Whaley Bridge and do not set up a shop in my home town Buxton - I wish to keep a slim physique and fear this may be difficult to maintain if they expand closer!

Very tasty,...
