A truly exhilarating dining experience. I approached the stall at 10:15, and the staff informed me to return at the opening time of 10:30. The suspense was killing me. I waited and waited, watching people walk along, imagining their own stories. But this was my story. The quest for chopstix. 15 long minutes, and I returned to the stall, welcomed by the warm and open smiles of the two women who ran the stall. 'Hello!' one cried to me, 'what would you like?' 'What have you got?' 'Everything you ever needed' I walked out of the stall as a new man. With a broadened pallette. Two toppings and spring rolls for an exceedingly low price. But most importantly, I had made a new friend; a companion in a huge world. The chopstix lady had told me to leave a review, and offered me a bottle of water for £1 only. The way she would not settle until I had the full experience (meal side and bev), reminded me of my Chinese family, in my hometown of shi shou; they pile food onto my plate until all possibility of finishing it is lost. Truly authentic. The service was so delightful that a nostalgic tear threatened to escape my softened eyes. The meal was so great, that I had to download the app to claim my free 5 spring rolls - a deal I could not resist. Once again, I ran towards my new friend, who already knew that it was done. I had the pleasure of experiencing Tierny's exceptional service with a beaming smile at Chopstix, and it was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment I stepped in, Tierny made me feel like a valued customer by asking about my day, creating a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire visit.

One standout moment was when Tierny advised me to download the Chopstix app, which turned out to be a game-changer in getting 5 free spring rolls! Her thoughtful suggestion displayed a genuine interest in enhancing my experience as a customer, and I truly appreciated it.

The only minor drawback I encountered was the limited amount of toppings per topping, which I understand is a company-wide issue and not within Tierny's control. She, however, handled the situation gracefully and professionally, ensuring that it did not diminish the overall quality of the service she provided.

In summary, Tierny's exceptional customer service and her thoughtful recommendation to use the Chopstix app left a lasting impression. OK, they were efficient, fast and the food was edible, but it certainly wasn't the most flavoursome Chinese cuisine ever. The salt and pepper chicken and katsu chicken were both lacking in any kind of zing. And what annoyed me most was that I ordered a box with 2 toppings, then the server asked me "What drink would you like?" I was surprised and asked "Oh does it come with a drink then?" She replied "Yeah you get a drink and a side with the meal." What she didn't say was that this was an extra £3 on top of the £8 odd for the box (which was already pushing it given the quality of the food). So when I reached the next server at the till and she said I owed £11 odd, I was somewhat surprised. OK, I should have been more explicit in my questioning about whether I would have to pay extra, but I consider that really cheeky to not be open about it. In their defence,when I expressed my surprise and explained what her colleague had said, the lady at the till did offer to take away the drink and side, so I could've reverted to my original order, but by that point I felt committed and bought the lot.
