FRESH — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

Have often walked past this eatery and thought hmmm I wonder. Well today I took the plunge and decided to go for the 6 piece breakfast 2 eggs, hash brown, bacon, sausage and beans. It is what it is, lovely I wish it would have been hotter but other than that I have no complaints. And all washed down with a lovely fresh mug of tea. Give it a try, I’ll be back!! Ok I’ve been here a few times since, and unfortunately I’ve lost my appetite for the place, yes the eggs are freshly fried everything else stands around in the hot plate for hours on end. Had a roast chicken dinner a few weeks back , it was nothing more than glorified rubber, the outer coating was made to look like it was roasted, in fact it was painted on BBQ sauce, served with cold peas and fries, vile would be an understatement. Not worth £2 let alone the £10 plus they charged. If you sit opposite you’ll see how many of the pies they sell, they just sit there and sit there. The food was ok but rude staff. We ordered two breakfast baps but we were told they had no fried eggs and they only had scrambled. We said ok thst is fine we will have scrambles egg on the bap. When we received the baps they had no scrambled egg on them. I tried to go back to get the egg put in but the rude young lady refused to do so and basically called us liars. Not happy about that at all.

In response to the reply from the owner firstly there was not even an apology given about the missing egg from the young lady in question jshe ust stated thst my father who ordered said he did not want the egg on there, and the reply had no empathy or understanding and the fact is the offer of the egg to be put on was not even given. As working in the area, been here twice. First time was not that bad, the food was okay, customer service wasn't good at all. This morning I thought I give the place a second chance. When I walked in, there was only one young girl, a blonde one, she was smiling at her phone while texting, as soon as she seen me walking in, the smile has gone, served me while her face clearly indicated she didn't want me there at all. Not a single smile, basically thrown the food at me, which wasn't even delicious at all, had a bacon roll, the roll was over toasted, the bacon was acceptable. Felt sorry for ruining her morning by my presence. As soon as she got me out of the way, she went back to her phone, started smiling again...

I hate giving details like this, but the place clearly...
