Marmaris Turkish Restaurant — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

Went here for birthday meal as nowhere else in Ramsey seemed to serve food on a Tuesday evening, and it was quite full, so usually a good sign. Service wasn't great, kids food came out approx 5 min after adults, jug of water but no glasses brought to table, 1 person ordered chips which never arrived. However, the worst thing was finding a large piece of hard plastic in the child's pasta! After making staff aware we were told by one member of staff that they would deduct the meal from our bill, then another member of staff told us they would discount the whole bill by half, but when we got the bill they had only discounted the child's meal. Very confusing, one upset mummy, and one disappointed...

A great addition to Ramsey. We went to try it out and the food was delicious and staff were all really friendly. We got lots of things to try for free and it was great to try all the traditional Turkish dishes. Couldn’t fault it. Was very pleased with the price of the dishes too, I thought it would be more expensive but it was reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again and recommending other people! Sad to say that we've just had one of the worst dining experiences EVER at this restaurant. Nothing arrived on time and we had to ask repeatedly where the rest of the order was. The food itself ( when we got it) was of reasonable quality, not impressed by the price of soft drinks though. My mixed kebab should have had 4 different meats on it, yet it turned up with two. I had to ask for the menu to show them they'd got it wrong. My advice... Hard swerve and go elsewhere. All you'll get is " really sorry" and still be expected to foot a bill for a truly lacklustre...
