A Truly Disappointing Experience – Avoid Caspian at All Costs After reading countless glowing reviews about Caspian (218 Union Rd, Oswaldtwistle, Accrington BB5 3JB), we decided to give it a try. Everyone seemed to be raving about the food, so we placed an order with high hopes. Unfortunately, what we received was nothing short of appalling.

We ordered a 12" Meat Feast Pizza for myself and a Donner Kebab for my wife, expecting a satisfying, tasty meal. What we got was the complete opposite – a greasy, unappetizing mess that left us feeling utterly disappointed and, quite frankly, ripped off. The wife is eating the kebab but after trying 1 slice I already knew from the very first mouthful that this pizza is completely inadequate!

The Pizza – A Sloppy Disaster The cheese on the pizza was an absolute abomination. It had the texture of something that had been squeezed out of a tube, slimy and artificial, coating everything in an unpleasant, gooey layer. It didn't taste like real cheese at all – more like some cheap, processed substitute that left a strange aftertaste in the mouth.

Then came the base, which was most certainly NOT thin and crispy as we were assured by the man on the phone. Instead, it was a doughy, undercooked mess, lacking any sort of crunch or structure. The whole thing was soggy, as if it had been sitting in a steamer rather than an oven. Every bite felt like I was chewing through wet cardboard, with absolutely no texture or bite.

As for the toppings, they were as uninspiring as the rest of the pizza. The meat lacked seasoning and quality, tasting cheap and fatty rather than rich and flavourful. The entire experience of eating this pizza was deeply unpleasant, and I couldn't even finish it.

The Donner Kebab – Cold, Greasy. My wife’s Donner Kebab was just as bad, if not worse. The meat was cold and rubbery, despite the fact that we live just five minutes away and drove straight home. There was no reason for it to be cold except for sheer negligence on their part.

On top of that, the meat was excessively greasy, swimming in oil that had soaked through the thin nann bread, turning it into a soggy, oily mess. The few vegetables included were limp and lifeless, adding nothing to the meal. There was no balance, no care in preparation – just a thrown-together heap of low-quality ingredients.

Customer Service – Misleading and Unhelpful We called to ask about the pizza before ordering, specifically requesting a thin and crispy base. The man on the phone confidently reassured us that this was exactly what we’d be getting. Either he had no clue what he was talking about, or he just blatantly lied to get the sale.

The presentation of the food was also dreadful. Everything looked thrown together carelessly, with no effort to make it even remotely appealing. Even the packaging was greasy, which should have been our first warning sign.

Final Verdict – Never Again I can confidently say that we will never be returning to Caspian. This was one of the worst takeaway experiences we've had in a long time. The food was low quality, poorly made, greasy, and cold – a total waste of money.

To anyone considering ordering from here: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. There are plenty of other places in the area that actually care about their food and customers. If you value quality food and a good takeaway experience, avoid Caspian like the plague.

I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel obliged to warn my fellow humans about the terrible quality of food being served here. Hopefully, this review will save someone else from making the same...

The kebabs from Caspian Pizza & Kebab House are, without a shadow of a doubt, THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. Having lived in Oswaldtwistle, Burnley, Manchester and Birmingham, I can confidently say these kebabs set the gold standard for what a proper kebab should be.

What truly sets this place apart is the quality and care that goes into the food. The donner meat is made using a UNIQUE FAMILY RECIPE, not the mass-produced, cash-and-carry meat you find everywhere else. Everything is FRESH, prepared in an OPEN KITCHEN where you can see the CARE and CLEANLINESS for yourself.

The customer service here is just as outstanding as the food. Sally is an absolute gem—welcoming, attentive, and always happy to chat. Her enthusiasm and genuine love for her work create an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. You’re not just a customer here; you’re treated like family.

I honestly cannot recommend Caspian Pizza & Kebab House enough. From the incredible food to the warm atmosphere, this place is truly outstanding and absolutely...

Do NOT waste your money on this awful place.

First of all, the food, was absolutely horrendous, I had a chicken kebab, and upon opening it up, it fell apart instantly, there was a huge hole in the bread, no, there wasn’t even a hole, there was 2 separate pieces of bread, not even naan bread, just crappy thin cheap bread placed on either side of the chicken and salad, and all of the chicken fell out instantly, it was practically held together by the paper, so here I am left with a jigsaw puzzle of my kebab, not to mention, the absurd amount of salad there was, I said yes to salad of course, but what I did not expect, was SEVENTY PERCENT of my kebab to be full to the brim of thin, grim lettuce and onions, it was a sloppy, greasy, disaster.

As for the service, went in, ordered, she was on the phone the whole time whilst making the food, and it was done within 10 minutes.

Atmosphere is plain boring, no where to sit, bland and has an unfriendly feeling to it.
